He's younger than Zaha. Thought that might put his age into perspective. Tall, strong, relatively quick. Ticks all the boxes for a 'One up top' striker. Only downside is it's not as fashionable as some of the other names we've been linked with. If the money's right, and he's played in his proper position, then this could be a very shrewd signing.

It can go one of two ways. 1. His career continues to stay as it has at Sunderland 2. The confidence of actually being played as a striker instead of a left winger, in new surroundings with brilliant wingers brings out his undoubted potential. Young, strong, quick and English. I honestly believe this move will bring the best out of him and push him towards the England squad. As others have said he has the qualities that suit our style of football and will learn from a very clever experienced striker in Murray!

Not gonna lie - my initial reaction to hearing this was a bit of disappointment. Now I've digested it a bit it might just work. Think of a younger Murray getting on the end of all the crosses and through balls from wilf/bolasie/punch/Cabaye. Could be some shrewd business

I still can't help but think our priority should be a new CB, especially with the addition of Bamford.

Dont know why alot of you are suprised Parish has been tracking this player since before Tony Pulis and has been well mentioned in the tabloids from time to time as a Palace option.

Personally, I'm split 50/50 on this one. Still, I'd have him over Adebayor any day of the week.

I have some very good Sunderland season ticket holders as mates who really do not rate him. Having said that maybe we can unlock his undoubted potential....
We had joy we had fun we had Brighton on the run, but the joy didn't last as the bastards ran to fast |
