Regularly? 19 league starts in a struggling side over 4 seasons.

And Doris (eventually a right back) didn't dislodge Tony Taylor (a left back).

And - the team promoted in 88/9 also stayed up for 4 seasons, matching the one Pinkney occasionally played in.

Right about John McCormick though. £1500 from Aberdeen and a total stalwart.

I rated him.

A tidy, creative Versatile player who never let the team down..

Not a star but reliable and quite speedy in midfield

This is the 71/2 squad, he's far left in the middle row.

Hi Photoman,

Are you sure that the player on the right of the Middle Row isn't Terry Wharton?

A new era of total football is on the way to Selhurst Park!!

The player in the front row is Gerry Humphries.

And the second goalkeeper is John Hardie, who we signed from Bradford Park Avenue when they slid out of the league in 1970.

However, due to Jacko not missing a game, Hardie failed to make a first team appearance and so doesn't show in either the Breedon's 1989 Complete Record or Ian King's Complete Record of 2011.

Had a run in the team at the start of 1972-73 season always did his best. Was as said a previous Amateur player and school teacher. Had a spell on loan with Fulham, also at Wimbledon. I think he went to South Africa for a while.

Had no idea he was around for 4 seasons...
Never made much of an impression, did he ever score a goal for us?
