Some tough interrogation from Paxman as expected.

I didn't think that Cameron looked as comfortable as he would do when interrogated by Paxman. He was caught out by some stats he didn't know and it was left to Paxman to reveal them. Not his finest moment on TV. I thought however he looked far more relaxed and at ease dealing with the questions from the audience.

Miliband tried to come across as being a tough leader and passionate etc etc but it didn't work. He also tried to be humble and admit past Labour failings etc but all along I felt he was "Treading water".

Cameron for me !

Quelle surprise! If Cameron (or any other Tory) came round to your house and shat behind your sofa, you'd still be ready to kiss arse!

I thought Cameron looked as comfortable as a man with a beehive in his pants. And his "no third term" revelation will do him no good. As with US presidents in their second term, he would be perceived as a lame duck leader.

I can unashamedly say that I am proud to be a dyed-in-the-wool Conservative and of course I shall be campaigning for my party in the coming election. In fact the 'Starting Gun' has been fired !

Personally I think Cameron was completely on the ropes in the first 5 minutes of the interview and then Paxman seemed to melt and give him time to answer and not challenge him anymore. It almost seemed like Murdoch was in his ear saying 'If you don't let my friend Dave answer then you'll never work in tv again.'

The audience was decidedly Tory in outlook asking soft questions to Cameron and slinging barbed insults to Miliband. Frankly I thought they were pretty poor. The only sensible question from the audience to Miliband asking about economic outlook and figures I thought he smashed out the park.

Beeb has it shaded to Miliband, which personally I thought was about right.

Well there's a surprise !

I never thought Cameron was at his best but Miliband was frankly embarassing which I fully expected.

Torygraph had it shaded to Cameron and Daily Mail had it shaded to Cameron but in a separate poll of just floating voters they had it massively swing towards Labour by 26 points.

I thought Millibands body language was cringeworthy at the Q&A wandering around the platform like a lost boy almost getting close enough to Kay Burley at one point to touch.

The questions he answered he did the best he could..laying it on thickly when admitting the issues of the previous Labour governance; which although a good move came across as simpering simply for votes.

I felt quite sorry for him in the Paxman episode...Paxman was a cock and again it made me feel uncomfortable when being hounded on stuff the answers given made the audience s******/laugh on more than one occasion.

Then there was the question about his 'strength' and although the example he gave was a pretty good one...his delivery was about as wet as Charles Haughtrey.

Cameron...meh. He was better in the Q&A and is clearly the better of the two in this area. He was more successful at answering the questions and turning them round to the economy pretty much in every instance....but then I guess that's what the Tories are basing their campaign on.

I didn't see the Paxman interview with Cameron so can only go on what the others thought.

As a starter i'd give it 5/10

I give no credence whatsover to that "Floating poll" if they had Miliband ahead by 26 pts.Totally ridiculous and I would have said the same if it was in Cameron's favour.

In any event, last night's show will have no bearing on the election.

By 8 points but again it was their ICM poll that had undecided people 26 points to the good for labour.

I'm no Labour of Miliband fan but I thought the questions for him were a bit harsh, making him out to be a bit of a muppet rather than talking politics. Kind of like bullying on TV. Oh God, I'm sympathising with Labour - is this how they reel you in?

Considering the hype all day about it on Sky what a wet blanket it was.

I didn't realise they weren't even going to interact.

Overall, Cameron was so so and Milliband was not much better or worse to be honest, at the start he was on the ropes but did deliver the line of the night saying Paxman was important but NOT that important.

I'm no UKIP voter but Farage will destroy these two if this is them at their peak.
