"Policeman "I could use my discretion, and give you a warning, but i'm not"
me" why tell me you could let me off, but you're not going to?"
Policeman" Perks of the job"

He said I had a clean record, otherwise it would have been £100"

Ha... perks of the job.... well the perk of playing 5 aside is being able to kick lumps out of you.

Rule of thumb.... if you're a prick... you can't complain if people take a dislike to you.

Disclaimer : I don't think all coppers are knobs, and all that ACAB/1312 is pathetic

So to recap you were caught for a traffic violation which you admitted to and because you are not happy, you got your mates to kick lumps out of and potentially injure a serving Police officer then come on here to boast.

And people on here think that's acceptable?

I was thinking that........

I guess we handle situations different, I felt the copper was a prick and used his job to belittle me... it's now some 5 months after the event, so I'm defo not playing the race card, but being the only mixed race fella in the village where I live and no-one else having a problem with this copper... I think it's fair to allow your mind to wander and ask the question... why me? I mean if you read the original thread he says he could let me off, but he isn't going to, and him having the power to be judge and jury is in his words are "perks of the job"... him giving me a ticket was a "perk" not something he felt professionally compelled to do... this was something he enjoyed doing.
I'm comfortable with how I have handled the situation.

If I was you I'd stop giving out information about who you are and what you did.

Let it end with you having the upper hand.

I got away with one not long ago but the puzzling part was when the police said "Against my better judgement, i'm going to only give you a warning".

I felt like saying, "it's probably not down to your judgement then, more the fact I was within the criteria for a warning". But I didn't.

Optimistic as ever

Whilst we all enjoy getting on over on the Police, its rarely a good idea to revel in it. They do have a remarkable access to resources for finding you, and hubris often comes home to roost.

And by Hubris, I mean 'reasonable force in a case of resisting arrest', which of course means 'justified assault' aka 'Keeping the Scrotes in line'

... I started a thread about a jobsworth copper giving me a ticket for not wearing my seat belt when I moved my car about 30ft so that it was parked directly outside my house. Well guess who was on the opposition team tonight in my 5 aside league? The team talk was.... Screw the game let's kick the copper... We kicked the s***e out of him for 30mins, at one point he was getting kicked so much he almost chinned our keeper (he got held back) which just made us kick him more. I caught him with a beauty, the ball bounced up in the air, and as I went for the header I smashed him in to the wall... It was like a scene from Rollerball.
I don't feel bad about kicking him, but I do feel bad for the ref, he was only 18, and as the game became more and more violent he took a load of abuse from the coppers teammates.
The highlight was our keeper who although he wasn't allowed out the area, came steaming out and took him out just above the hip... That's when the copper lost it... He wanted to brain our keeper who is a floppy haired student who looks like a feminine version of Harry Styles... I told our hard up student that I will pay his subs from now on, for that tackle alone.
I'm pretty sure the copper didn't recognise me.

You want to fvking hope he didn't mate

Hmm,He almost certainly will from now on.

Happy ending though.Just don`t give him any cause to nab you in future.

Yes, I'm pretty sure you are right, but as stated... he only really lost it with our keeper... I genuinely believe he just thought we were a rough team... but our keeper has the same physical stature as the dude from the Mr Muscle adverts, and it's him he lost it with.
