Turns out that HMRC were sent this information in 2008. Which puts it under the watch of the last mob.

HMRC denied even receiving that email - though I have no doubt it was sent. The government can't act on something until they know about it. Let's not like sucked into the 'this party is to blame, that party is to blame' Punch and Judy show.

This thread highlights the utter idiocy of partisan political points scoring.

The sooner more realise that politicians, mainstream parties and the whole political system are not there for any other reason than to maintain the status quo for the corporate, judicial and ruling elite who really run things the better

And that's why I don't vote.

When the thread is titled thus, it's difficult not to.

Just because they're written in the same sentence on a forum it doesn't bind them closer together in real life. I'm just stating why I think it's a waste of time blaming any particular party for this .

I'd even go as far as saying that you can forgive HMRC for initially not acting. They likely just binned it since it read that one of those Nigerian email scams: [Link]

Full of errors and sent from anonymous email to the VAT dept instead. Of course that's no excuse for letting people off the hook once they did get the list. Plus it has to be pointed out that this guy is brave to do expose wrongdoing.

Tell us "we're all in this together" while cashing in, sending their kids to the best schools and laughing at us 'plebs'.

Careful, you might get the same ire as Russell Brand

To be fair about the criticism of Brand.....It wasn't for his analysis of the social/political system run for and by the wealthy elite class....An analysis that was far from new.....It was for his ideas of alternatives to it.......Though personally I thought a lot of the criticism of Brand was just over the top and more to do with a dislike of him rather than an analysis of his ideas.

Right.....So maybe Nick you could start these threads off with a more general attack on politicians rather than a one eyed focus on the Tories or UKIP.
