How can you include Lombardo? He only played for half a season in the top division before breaking his leg and surely "best ever" must include an element of longevity.
My list: 1. Lombardo Martyn should be in there but I can't think of who to leave out so I'm not including goalies! Other notable mentions: Johnson, Sorrondo, Curcic, Jansen, Gordon, Clyne, Moses, Hughes, Bright. Edited by WelshEagle (16 Nov 2014 7.41pm)

Had a season ticket since 88 ( apart from 2 years in Tenerife) which was when Lombardo was playing. Top 5 , no order
Best ever loan player Ashley Cole ( saw him at Prenton park and remember telling my mate that he would be the England left back for years) there will never, ever be a team that will equal the team of the early 90s in my eyes, maybe because of the age I was, or because I was watching them with my old man, but they were great.

I think that we need to find a 130 year old Palace fan, who has had a season ticket since they were 21.

A 130 year old , who had a season ticket since they were 21. Do the maths, I know it's a Sunday night though mate, so fair enough.

Nothing new really but for me: Byrne Then it is tough: Steve Kember; Jim Cannon, Don Rogers; Peter Taylor are hard to choose between and Mike Elwiss would have been in there had he played longer for us. So many others keep popping in to my head as well. However, I will give the final place to the DON, of whom I have so many very happy memories.
