Sad news, saw him away against West Brom can't remember the year but we won 4-1, and he was unplayable and im sure he scored, thought then we had another Ian Wright, but sadly this wasn't to be with Palace, though he did have a prolific career at Charlton,no age though 43 very sad.

I used to love the days where we could say we had Whyte, Wright and Bright up front.

Tragic, so young. RIP

just seen the sad news come up on SSN that he passed away yesterday at the age of just 43!! Quite liked him, was just a bit unfortunate he had Wrighty and Brighty in front of him! thoughts and best wishes to family and friends.

Very sad news, always thought he was a decent player for us, and so young too. Tragic.

Saw his debut for us away at WBA if I'm not mistaken...scored a couple as well. Sad sad loss

I remember this game well. He scored a couple of very tidy goals and we all thought he was the new Wrighty. On his day he was excellent but he never showed the consistency to make it at the highest level.

RIP

Very sad, he was a very gifted player that never really produced his full potential, we saw a few flash's of what he could do, remember a brilliant goal from him at WBA with a fantastic finish. RIP.
