Could only dream of this happening, defo looked like going to a top club and i only reckon we will start a raft of bids. But very promising being lined with Caulker and Livermore even if it is big money. Spoke to Alan on twitter, looks promising

Who is Alan?

The guy who wrote the article, he's good with his info and only one I would trust at Mirror and is quite good with people asking him questions. @Reluctantnicko

The source for this rumour is quoted as the Sunday People,. Two different sources then, for this story. KG as we know recently moved ghe other way, so clearly when it comes to business, the two clubs arnt squabbling!

KG's move to Cardiff did not involve any negotiation between the two clubs. He is a free agent as of 30th June and was thus entitled to talk to other clubs.

Caulker, on the other hand, is contracted to Cardiff City and, as such, Cardiff would have to be prepared to listen to any approach we made for a deal to be done. Whilst it would be small minded of Mr. Tan to ignore offers CPFC made for any of his players we all know he is a veritable little worm.

It does suggest in the article that the 8 million fee is in his contract if they went down as they did and if that was true Cardiff can do nothing if we offer the buy out fee

I would pay £8m all day long. Think he would go elsewhere though

I have prepared one of my own time capsules. I have placed some rather large samples of dynamite, gunpowder and nitroglycerin. My time capsule is set to go off in the year 3000. It will show them what we are really like.

As long as we bid quickly , we will have a chance of signing him as he has an 8 mil buy out clause so then we would just have to agree personal terms

Easier said than done though

Caulker made more mistakes that lead to goals than our central duo put together, therefore,I believe, no better defensively than what we have.He has scored a few,but for 8 million I think we could do better.Ollie's Dad,Ash.
