This is all that matters, that the club and the management value these two players and want to retain their services. We can't ask for more than the ball being placed in the player's court.

Just signed up to say this is the best news I have heard all season. We all know Jules will sign but even if he does not and he goes abroad to finish his career in the sun I will have no problems with wishing him the best of luck. A player of his ability very rarely possesses such loyalty. He could have played in the premier league years ago when Boro, Fulham, QPR and Bolton came knocking on his door in 2010 and he does what only few players have done. Play for free and waited for the club to sort itself out and sign a deal to stay at the club for a further 4 years. This man sums up this beautiful club perfectly and has recently overtaken Burridge and Martyn as my favourite all time keeper and maybe even my favourite Palace player of all time. However looking through some of the posts I am shocked at the stick aimed at Hennessey. No keeper would have stopped those from going in. We of all people should know not to judge a player and write him off after one game. Who would of fault the pony tailed calamity against Everton would of became a legend. Anyway love Jules and let him create more records at Palace that are hopefully never broken. Please sign that contract Jules. Palace wouldn't be Palace without you.

I don't want to rain on the parade or anything but didn't everyone say throughout the year that Mirror stories were without exception a load of s***e? Hope its true though!

Any negative story, then the credibility of any newspaper can be called into question. Positive stories however, even if written on a napkin found on the floor outside a kebab shop, are to be heralded as marvelous journalism and taken as fact without question.
