Snodgrass and Redmond from Norwich would be excellent additions.

Do you think Scott Parker or Sidwell could do a job for us?

Sidwell is an experienced veteran player and would be a good addition to the team if we don't secure Ince or we start clearing out loanees. I'd like to see Steven Caulker or Sebastien Bassong come in to support the defense.

Left Back - A must in this window, lucky for us Ward is so good he can play there but we have no starting LB Striker - Bony type player would be great. Winger - Please be Zaha if not then Redmond Midfielder - N'Zonzi would be amazing, Snodgrass could add somthing. Centre Back - If we cannot get a top quality CB then a young potential star to push the current guys. Defensive Midfielder - a young player who can grow into it over the next season.

We need to move on: In terms of signings: Strikers - Keep Chammers, let Jerome go, and then sign another striker with a bit of height. The rumour with the lad at Bronby doesnt go away so maybe there is something in that. Im sure Pulis and Moody already have their shopping list though.

Here's my wish list: 2 strikers - Keep Chamakh, Gayle, Murray. 1 / 2 wingers - Try and sign Ince, plus to keep Bolasie and JP on their toes. 1 left back - Probably our weakest position in the team - sign up Parr as cover & move Ward back to RB with Mariappa / Hunt as cover. 1 Centre half - Let Gabbidon and Paddy leave, bring in a hungry talented youngster that will challenge Delaney & Dann. Mariappa also the 4th choice CB. 1 - Another centre mid who is a decent distributor and passer. Keep KG, SOK, Bannan & Williams. These will provide decent competition for Jedi, Ledley. Discuss. A LB, a CM, a winger or two, a striker. Maybe be a CB depending on how TP feels about the depth of the squad. LB: Aron Creswell has been impressing for years, and is no doubt a talent, but can he step up? Decent left backs seem to be hard to come by though, so maybe there needs to be a compromise somewhere. Who knows, maybe in a parallel universe, Ashley Cole leaves Chelsea, quarters his wage and joins Palace to see out his career? Creswell it is then. CM: I'd say we need a more box-to-box type, who is well versed at defensive duties. We have plenty of options in the more advanced role: Chamakh (assuming he stays), Ledley, Puncheon, Murray, Williams etc. At CDM, I don't think Jedi with KG is the way to go, because you need that balance, hence Ledley playing alongside Jedi recently. N'zonzi is the recent rumour, and would be pretty much perfect. Not sure it will happen mind. Winger (s): Need to be willing to work and put a shift in. Ince or Wilf seem the popular choices, but I think it's important to add competition for places and keep Bolasie and Puncheon on their toes. It's a relatively simple position in terms of requirements, so it's not as of Ince and Wilf are the only two wingers available. Pretty open minded here to be honest. Striker: Trickiest of the lot IMO. Gayle looks to be making a case for himself, Murray should be kept too, and Chamakh can play up top too. Wilbs will go, Cam Jam won't be signed IMO, so we have two bigger hold-up types, and then Gayle. How we complement that is pretty open if you ask me. Pace is key though in my opinion; Cam Jam and now Gayle offer a real threat when they get their head down, and without Cam Jam we are left with only one quick striker. We don't need pace for the sake of it, but they need to be able to run with the ball. I don't think though that just plucking a prolific Championship striker is necessarily the way to go. CB: There's not too much wrong here at the moment for where we are, but more depth wouldn't be bad. I think Paddy will be off, as will Ramage. Mariappa can play there, but really we have three we know can do the job; Dann, Gabbs and Delaney. Adding another wouldn't be a mistake. To be honest, we can pluck names out, look at what's available, but there'll always be something that comes out of the blue, or a name we didn't think of, or a position we didn't think needed strengthening. What we want, what we need and what's available are all very different things! Given how solid the January transfer window was, I think we just need to trust the management team to find the players and the to sign them.

Can see us adding more experience..... Possibly Charlie Adam, Darren Bent and Keiran Richardson. If Pulis gets those three playing to anywhere near their best they could prove to be bargains.....on the other hand..... Edited by CheeseRolls (12 May 2014 9.47am)
