He has had a great season, playing a more withdrawn role behind the striker suits him. His distribution and movement has been spot on and he very rarely gives the ball away.

TP stated when he came to Palace, MC was the technically the most gifted player in the squad and i think he was right....

Cham is by far our most technically gifted player. He also puts in 1 hell of a shift when he plays. He has really bought into the culture of the club, this despite getting dogs abuse on here after the Fulham home game. The idiots that ran towards him and olly after that game shouting abuse as they went down the tunnel could have damaged his confidence but to his credit he rolled his sleeves up and carried on.

He seems to behave in a more balanced way then when he arrived. I hope Champers realises he has learned a good lesson at Palace and commits himself, even if it means taking a lower remuneration. Lets hope.

I buy all that, a really classy player.

I still can't get over how scared he is of having the goal at his mercy. He just doesn't believe in his scoring ability and always lays it off where he can. Everything else is outstanding but he somehow needs to build his belief. It's the difference between him and FFS. Same happened at Arsenal.

As has been said on another post, maybe not so much of a problem if Gayley really gets the wind in his sales. But I truly believe they could become the new Wright and Bright if Chammers could get more of an eye for goal.

His record at Bordeaux before he signed for Arsenal was roughly 1 goal every 4 games so he was hardly that prolific.I think Arsenal got him on a 'Free'.
