I'm never quite sure how this works. Is that £75 million on top of the reported 120 million that we got last year or did that £120 million promotion include £60 million if we went down, so in theory for staying up we've gained an extra £15 million. All very confusing. Forget the 120 million figure, just ignore it. That was the estimated revenue from the league (circa 60m for one season) PLUS 60 million parachute payments over four years were we to be relegated - we were not relegated so we get circa 75 million, due in part to finishing 11th. Next year we will be looking at around 63 million plus 1.2m for every place we go up in the table. We finish bottom we get 1.2m extra, we finish in the same place as this year we get 12m extra. Should we get relegated next year, the year after or whenever we get the 60m over a four year period. I hope that is clearer.

Looks as though we will be getting just over GBP75,000,000 for our sterling efforts this season. Information taken from the sportinglife.com/sky sports sites: £1.2million paid for every place a club finishes in the league, up to £24million for the champions; Facility fees of £750,000 for every time a club appears on a live TV match, with a minimum of £7.5million; Equal share from domestic broadcast deals - not yet confirmed but expected to be around 60% increase to £23million per club; Equal share from overseas broadcast deals - not yet confirmed but expected to be around 70% increase to £32million per club. It's a double edged sword. It's not the Sky money it's the rich, (usually) foreign investors that have skewed everything meaning only a handful of teams are only competing for the top-tier title

I think Pulis has many suggestions as to how to improve the overall club stature as a 'premier League' outfit. TP and SP are meeting today to start planning how to to spend this, exciting times!

I wonder what the deal on Sponsorship is. We've gone from a mid-championship side to a side that looks like it has settled into life as a mid level premiership side. I'd love to see Virgin back on our shirts.

just saw this on the Beeb Whoever finishes bottom of the Premier League on Sunday will still earn more TV money than last season's champions Manchester United.

We couldn't have picked a better time to come up. Surely the gulf between the two tiers will now grow. That said, poor mismanagement might lead to even more clubs going into administration.
