MOTD - Robbie Fowler and Didi Hamman
Sky - Presume Paul Walsh and Jan Molby as saw them climb the gantry ?

f*** up the Scouse w@nkfest did we ????

Oh and thanks to MOTD for totally ignoring the HF display in favour of a Uruguayan flag in the scouse end the size of a tea towel

Didn't watch sky (at the game) but watched MOTD when I got home. Usual lip service to us then 20 minutes of mutual Liverpool masturbation.

Fowler even said our third goal was the result of a "pump forward" (ie, long ball). F*ck off was it, Dann was on the halfway line and chipped it nicely to Murray on the edge of the box, to chest it down for Gayle to smash home. That's not a long ball. Gerrard was trying 40-yard balls out of defence all night. No-one calls him a long-ball merchant.

No matter what Pulis does some idiots (Rodgers, Fowler) seem to think they have a monopoly on passing the ball and that TP's teams cannot play. Well f*ck them, we can play. We defend yes, but when we break we do it with pace, power and skill and showed them tonight what we can do.

Beautiful it was too

Bang on the money Seth.

I think Lineker said how about a word for Palace...and that's all they gave us, one word. Well fvck 'em, we showed up those whining twa@ts again.

Gary Neville is by far the best pundit out there at the moment for me

...

He is excellent.

As a player Alex Ferguson described him as a fantastic professional and that he is only appreciated when he is not playing.Neville used to kiss Beckham smack on the lips in celebration !!!!

Impressed with Gary Neville's comments. Some very complimentary comments and raved about the fans support. Still getting used to commentators or pundits saying positive things about Palace. Fans were amazing last night, commentator struggling to be heard at times and its not just Liverpool failing to defend its about us having the mental strength to keep pressing at 3 down.

Sky had Martin Tyler and Alan Smith commentating who, in my opinion, were very fair. Congratulated Liverpool on pinning us down for 75 minutes and ended up heaping a heck of a lot of praise on Bolasie. Was really surprised just how knowledgeable they were regarding us.

Sky focused heavily in their post-match assessment on Liverpool's defending, but that's fairly unsurprising when Johnson, Skrtel and Sakho screwed up, and what you had in the studio was a centre back and a left back, one of whom was at that point an angry ex-Liverpool player.

Neville though was incredibly complimentary about us; fans, players and management

Saw Martin Tyler as he went past us to the gantry - also say Hells Bells and the bloke from Soccer AM...Dont know who Walsh and Molby were working for there then as presumed Sky but deffo went up there and didnt notice them come down - perhaps they are still there

Watched the game on Sky, and then the highlights on MOTD. What a contrast.

MOTD spoke about how Liverpool were guilty of being 'naive' in their defending. Carragher and Neville on Sky absolutely slattered Liverpool at the end in their assessment, Carragher openly slatting individual players, not just for last night, but throughout the season. It was lovely - I might watch it again tonight !

Neville is by far the best pundit on TV. My respect for him began when we beat ManUre in the cup and he was very complementary, and since then he has always been impartial and keen to give praise where praise is due. The only one last night, along with the 'anchor men' to give us any credit, and Neville gave plenty.

Henry Winter in the Independant about Liverpool

They needed to appreciate that the Palace fans’ phenomenal, unconditional, impassioned backing would inspire Bolasie and company

Last night he put on Twitter

#cpfc losing but loud. Some clubs have singing sections. At Palace, every section is a singing section

I like Henry

agree with all that. Down under here in Perth. Up at 3am to watch the match, what a match. At the end we had to suffer coverage of that t*** saurez walking off with his shirt over his head. no coverage of the palace players taking their just applause. Wish he had lost his way and walked into the Holmesdale end!

I've noticed that every time Lineker mention's Crystal Palace he has the look of someone who's trodden in something. Motd, only mention the other team's failings, never a word about our team playing well. Reminds me of the ABs here. It is always someone else's fault or they played badly, never any credit given especially if it's England.

You're missing the pint Eggy (in all respect). All the commentary and post match was about Liverpool's failures and the poor performance of their players. Anything said about Palace was tantamount to patronising, you know, didn't Palace do well, bless. But after years of this elite club prejudice so many fall into that trap. Up and down the country this weekend thousands filled grounds to watch games vital to them. Nothing to do with the 'few'. But when you see little kids everywhere wearing the colours of some top teams that are not even based in this country, as well as the usual suspects, you can see how far the brainwashing has gone.

Gary Neville is class as a commentator. He is fair and gives credit where it is due and criticism the same. He may be ex Manure but when it comes to commentating he is my fav. Even when it involves united he will lambaste them if need be.
