I wd imagine it comes down to money. Ashley will offer him a long contract with a substantial raise. Simple as that really.

As well as what it would cost to sack Pardew?

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

If that's all Ashley wants then why change the manager? Paradew is delivering Premier League football within the budget.

I Agree

In an article from 'The Mag' in May 2013 they understand he gets £1.5m a year, so it looks like it could be £9m as he has 6 years left.

Newcastle want and expect regular European football. Much as we love him, I'm not sure Pulis is a top six manager.

Easily with the right resources and club.

Hopefully though , with their myth (bit like West Ham) of playing a certain type of football , the Pulis myth of hoofball might well dissuade them.

Let's just hope it is rubbish.

Well this source allegedly comes from the Newcastle first team, so unless his agent has a mole embedded there, it's unlikely...

TP is going to get offers to manage elsewhere, based on his success at Palace. F (G) reedman left at the earliest opportunity under these circumstances, but let's hope Pulis shows more commitment.

The OP (who only joined weeks ago) has an obsession with TP moving to other clubs. Who cares what some mate of a mate supposedly thinks? Ignore.

Plus they will have to pay Palace compensation for TP's broken contract which has another 2 years to run.

They've been wanting that since Keegan in 1996. They've never got it and every manager has been sacked since. With the dick they have in charge of the club, I'd be surprised if anybody would
want to touch that job right now.

My budgie lip read a wood pigeon who was having a conversation with a blackbird in the garden ...he said that Pulis told a seagull passing his house in Bournemouth that he's staying with Palace!!!!

Someone claiming to be itk (with history of calling things right) claims this is on. Source comes from ex Newcastle player with friends in first team.

Make of that what you will...

And so Stan walked towards the Holmesdale and in his mind, marky word, mad stories. The thread must have been fruity four years old to grow it and grow it all night load, what? .
