What is this rubbish I keep hearing/reading second time I've seen this now. He needs to learn some manners I think he's under contract

Manners? Really?

Yes manners! Did you not understand my post? Let me explain.... I think he acted in public to be rude, his behaviour as the crystal palace manager whilst under contract is rude. Having just kept palace in the premiership there is no reason he would be sacked, so why fob the question? I think its fair to say unless he quit, he can say he can guarantee he will be here next season. So to reiterate again his behaviour was socially unacceptable as the manager of a football club. He could of rapped the question up more correctly by suggesting nothing is guaranteed but he certainly hopes to be an wants to be the manager of crystal palace next season.

What if he has a conversation with the chairman about the future of the club and their vision is different and Parish gets rid? Or god forbid a family tragedy etc and he wants time out of football? I think he probably meant something along those lines.Hardly rude though is it?

It is nothing to do with manners or being rude. He is simply answering a question in the best possible way as a football manager. There are no guarantees, regardless of how good a job you have done. It really is just as simple as that.

Non-Committal - Like anyone if the offer comes in that's too good to turn down, he'll go. That's the way the world works. Same way as we'd sack him if he lost the first 12 games.

There is no loyalty of guarantees, only getting the best deal.
