After watching Chelsea use all the professionalism's of time wasting, deliberate fouls and just plain old boring stuff any attack by putting all your players in front of goal and then two sucker punch goals I was sad for football.
With Man City and Liverpool continuing to play attractive, open football and their recent game was everything good about the game I really am torn with us possibly giving the title to Chelsea!

Who do you think deserves the title?

We do. We are by far the greatest team the world has ever seen.

Man Citys net spend since 2009 - £490m

Liverpools - £90m

City are a disgusting example of everything i hate about football.

They have earned none of their success.

Arguably they deserve the title, after all they paid a lot of money for it

Couldn't care less who wins the premier league - Liverpool has always been a horrible plastics team and probably invented the concept of 'plastic fans' back in the 80s, where as I know few Chelsea fans and a Man City fan who actually supported their clubs when they were s**t.

Anyone but Liverpool.

City has spend that amount of money in 5 years.
How much have manure spend over the last 20 years.
In the recent manc derby the staring eleven for City totalled 185 million but manure total was 192 million .
On the transfer forum people are asking the board to spend 30/40 million on one player something we will never do.
I believe titles are not bought but the most consisted team will win so for me it's City.

It would be a greater achievement if Liverpool win for the financial outlay in comparison to city and chelski ; Sturridge who was not given much game time at city or chelski has at least proved a success if given a proper run in the team.

Lesson to be learned Maybe

Call me old fashioned, but does this subject need to be in Palace talk? Or as i suspect in football talk?
So, who deserves to win the play offs ?

Whoever gets most points/ best goal difference deserves it. Style of football or tactics is immaterial.

Agreed, this has always been the way I see it.

Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link]

I thought the question asked on this thread was who do you want to win the title, not who deserves to win. Of course we know the title will be won by the team with most points. The question is what team do you want to achieve this? For me Liverpool don't have the style to enthral , and City have cheated by taking a short cut through buying success. Conversely Chelsea seem to be the cheeky chappies who delight in fooling us all and consequently are a delight to follow. (In reality my desire is for the ol' Glaziers to win it...but you did ask)

TBH I couldn't disagree more with the sentiments expressed here. Writing off Mourinho on the above basis is the same as all the rubbish that's been written about Pulis over the years. Sports is about winning, not aesthetics, and until they start giving football teams marks for artistic impression, the team with the most points will deservedly win the title. Watching Mourinho time and time again outwit managers of supposedly more attractive (sic) football teams is hilarious. I mean Tan claims we knew all about Cardiff before the match. Do you think anyone in Liverpool didn't know Chelsea were going to park two buses at least a week before the game? Yet despite this, Rodgers was completely unable to devise a tactical plan to break it down despite having a side that included Luis Suarez, arguably the most dangerous individual attacking player in the country. Sucker punch goals my backside; that was victory by tactical design if ever I've seen it and Jose has done it time and time and time again. If you can't find entertainment in his sheer expertise then I'd recommend League 2 football; all blood, guts and attacking intent.

Liverpool or Man city. I don't agree that sport is only about winning. We need to be entertained. Well I do. Don't get me wrong - I'm happy or Palace to win ugly given our scarce resources. But if you spend the millions Chelsea have - parking the proverbial bus is a disgrace. Nowt wrong with smart tactics - like when they played Man City away but that win at Anfield is hardly inspirational is it?
