Yaya makes more money than our entire squad for a reason...and that should be self-evident after the result.

Can't fault our guys when you're playing the 'Bank. Not everyone can pull a Wigan on a team that deep.

If we still had something to fight for, then I agree that this would not have been the best performance going. But we are 11th, and safe from relegation. I don't be-grudge losing 2-0 to Man City in the slightest, especially when you see some of the hammerings they have dished out.

Due to health reasons I can't get to games these days but I watch them where I can from start to finish, I watched the palace city game and have to say that I was not as impressed with the lads as I have been. I felt we looked jaded and tired, jules was not controlling his area and I felt was at fault for the first goal, we knew that toure would be a handful but nobody was able to control him in fact we never looked as if we got anywhere near him .
I have to say this was the first game where we looked particularly inferior. I love palace but really hope that the whole team shows up this Saturday and give their all. This was summed up by an article that I read, " this game , palace were not the threat that was expected of them". My thoughts are with a heavy heart I hate criticising the guys they have done fantastic just don't think we played the Palace way last Sunday.

Absolutely unreal. Here was me thinking we had one of the best supports in the country.

We were playing a 250 million pound STARTING ELEVEN, and you say we look 'particularly inferior'. We were very up for the game and we worked very hard, if you can actually deny that, take into account a Tottenham team that were also 'up for it' but conceded what.. 11 goals in 2 games? We've conceded 3. That's something to think about.

11th place after a great run, and just because we didn't pound a title chasing team 5-0, people start doubting.

Absolutely shocking.

Did you not watch any games up to & definitely including Fulham at home?!

No disgrace in only losing 2-0 to a team that were solid and have brushed aside much bigger teams this season. It takes a lot of blood, sweat & tears to win five games on the trot. I for one do not begrudge an off day.

This with all Elizabeth Tower bells and Big Ben

We we're playing a team with class players
a team that have scored just 3 against us over tge two games whereas others have been slaughtered! The Liverpool game being early didn't help, City were fired up, that said if it weren't for the early goal it might have been different.

* City pay the highest wages of any sports team in the world

* Their bench is probably worth more than our entire club

* They had just watched Liverpool blow their match and let City back in the title race

* They have some of the best players in the world

* We are a little club battling with the big boys and are safe with three games to go

* We weren't humiliated

What exactly did anyone expect?!

City were exceptional and I would say were the best team I have seen this season they were fired up due to the Liverpool result.

We did not play that well but I would say City did not allow it to happen.

This

Oh and what was going on with Faithless being played over the top of Glad all over, even the PA guys were half asleep

We are totally unrecognisable from the team that lost at home to Fulham, there are a couple of ways to look at it, it shows how our expectations have grown as the season (maybe a little bit too much. You only have to look at he hammerings Man City have handed out to some top 5/6 teams and in the 2 games we have played we lost 1 - 0 at their place and 2 - 0 at ours no disgrace in either result or performance. I take my hat off to City they were the best team I have seen this season going behind so early didn't help though and Yaya Toure was a beast a superb display. Still very proud how we stuck in there and battled our bollocks off though just as we have since Holloway left ...
