Bit harsh on Murray to be fair, coming on after 70 mins when the lads are tired, there wasn't much given for him to have a chance and likewise with Ince, we had 4 poss 5 shots on goal for the whole game but his placement and positioning looked fine to me, just his pace and fitness need work if he has a chance next season. Just my general opinion, although Jerome works 100% every match, his positioning and some of his passing wasn't "great" today. and likewise with Mariappa.

no shame in losing 2-0 to the best paid team in the world. Man City have truly carved-up some other teams this season.

I'm sure tp and all of us know how its done, 100s of millions spent, and a free state of the art stadium helps.

Nothing to do with tp not moving stoke on etc etc, only a handfull of teams will ever compete in the pl for the top 6,

Lets be happy with mid table, reap the benefits rebuild the club and not get all taking the next step up, because to be honest reaching top ten in the pl is as good as it gets.

Agree - we've had an incredible season but already msny are wanting to raise thw bar to high to quickly Wwith frankly unrealistic expectations.
Be happy we still in the PL and hopefully can establish
ourselves as a good mid-table team next season.

They also gave us a lot of posession and we didn't seem to know what to do with it. Add into that the fact that they chased every ball, constantly hassling & harrying us which meant we were going nowhere.

I do think we'll have a far better chance against Liverpool if we can contain them for the first 30 minutes.

Bottom line though is that City (as others have said) were simply the best team to visit Selhurst this season.

I honestly do not think those of you have commented negatively on Ince and/or Murray know too much about football.

Ince was on for what, 15 minutes. His first taste of first team action since another 15 minutes at Sunderland several weeks ago. You could see quite clearly that he is learning what TP is teaching and was tracking back - something he did not do in his starts for us in early February.

Ince is a talent, raw but with huge potential. If we sign him we have got a real steal and clubs will be offering millions for him in, say, two years time.

The anti-Murray gang are also a tad clueless. Nine months out with a terrible injury and then back to a team now playing in a higher division. Needs to find his feet, find his form and see if he can cut it at this level - personally i believe he can. But to have a go after an few cameo appearances and a couple of starts is just plain bonkers.

I'll tell you what. Some of those City chaps are monsters. I haven't seen such a physically powerful line up of players at Selhurst this season. Kompany, Toure, Demechelis etc. are just so strong. It was noticeable how often they were winning the 50/50s and at times our forwards might as well have been running into a brick wall.

They're a massive defensive unit. A Villa fan said that our team were a lot bigger and stronger than theirs the other week, probably why they're really struggling.

Monsters is about right ...big and quick too. No time at all on the ball before they were on us. How fantastic to see Toure up close ...what a footballer!!!!

I think I've seen every game this year (thank you NBC!) with the exception of the Fulham debacle. That's the best I've seen anyone against us. They were clearly head 'n' shoulders better than us coming forward and they out-Pulised us when defending - harrowing us on the ball high up the pitch.

Conversely, that's the best passing display I remember from Palace, mostly because of City's pressing they were able to pass through them. Some of the intricate passing, especially down the right touchline, was excellent. Hopefully, the Pulisball haters were watching and paying attention; the boys were committed to playing it on the deck as much as possible, and they were never going to get hammered by 4, 5 or 6.

In the end, though, we never really looked like scoring, and were undone by two flashes of world-class brilliance from Toure.

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

It's one thing to buy the best players money affords, but the management have to know how it works. I'd love to think TP and the club do, but.......How exactly do you make a team of top jacks do the business? All track back and tackle? City didn't. Sweat buckets at high speed? City didn't. Chop down the better opponents? City didn't. It's another level completely.
