Didnt go but on 5 sounded non stop, the com team couldnt say enough good things about the support. May have been poor by palace standards, but compared the rest of the pl way out in front.

Today was poor, the early goal didn't help. It's been a long old season and I think today was a bit of an anticlimax mixed with relief. Loved the 'we're proud of you' chant, the boys deserved it.

Anyone got any photos of the Fanatics display?
And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways |

It didn't help that thousands of us left the game early. I wonder how that makes the players feel to see everyone streaming out of the stadium 5 minutes before the whistle?
I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that. |

There was nothing on the game so the atmosphere is bound to drop a bit. Hardly surprising!

The 4th minute goal and the complete dominance of Man City made it unlikely that the atmosphere would hit Chelsea levels. Being safe in mid-table had an effect on both team and fans, but both can bounce back for the Liverpool game. Yesterday was a bit like the Swansea home game, which was killed off early as well.

The atmosphere was pretty quiet compared to normal. I think the match was decided with the Liverpool result, had they won then city would've been massively deflated, as it happened it was the best team talk they could have had. For us, team and fans, it was basically a game that meant nothing after a hard slog throughout the season.
