not gonna goad them if they go down ( I remember Charlton ), in the same way as I won't be singing YNWA for Liverpool, enjoy giving it to OUR team for what THEY'VE achieved

Now i always cringe at most peoples suggestions of new songs so feel free to tell me this is rubbish if you like but i woke up with this in my head this morning.
If we send fulham down..
To the tune of "we all follow the palace over the land and sea"

Wave to the brighton on your way down
AND DOUGIE
and then repeat for millwall and charlton.

Cringe or ok?

There is no need to give Fulham a hard time.
It was one of the worst feelings when Charlton did it to us.
Lets just sing about how good our own boys have done.
Hopefully both clubs are in the premiership, another London Derby and a chance to avenge our 4-1 defeat at Selhurst Park, the right way.

Amen to that Mr. Flow.
Most sensible.
Fulham have got themselves into the position they're in and don't need any incidental music from us to go with their plight!!

Quote Mr_Flow at 22 Apr 2014 5.16pm

I won't be goading them if they're going to get relegated. I seem to remember Charlton fans revelling in our downfall when they relegated us and that came back to bite them on the backside.

Think the expression is "Be nice to people on your way up because you'll meet them on your way down".

Quote Seth at 22 Apr 2014 2.33pm

"We all follow the Palace, over land and sea" has 12 syllables.

"Wave to the Brighton on your way down" has 9 syllables.

Therefore, like Cucking said, it doesn't scan and is, by your own criteria, cringe.

Yeah, and it lacks a rhyming couplet and there's no Iambic Pentameter. FFS Seth are you turning this place into Uncle Funty's Poetry Corner? :-)

Leave the songs to the HF, next thing will be some of you drawing matchstick figures on bedsheets to try and upstage them.
