sign up chamakh to a longer deal and sign up a top foreign striker with pace. God knows who, but i dont foresee many prem strikers joining nor do i beleive many championship strikers have enough to cope in this league. Perhaps blackburns Jordan Rhodes but i do wonder about him too sometimes, whether he'll be able to step up. who knows. I don't think he could step up to be honest add Finnbogasson to that list too, thats just my opinion, it's just a pattern I have been following in strikers for a few years that suggest he won't make the step up. It seems that if you are slow you need strength and if you are weak you need that pace. He lacks pace and strength. Think about it, think of Soldado, Maiga, Sharp and Becchios. Lack pace, strength but have reputations of good finishing ability in other leagues but are unable to utilise it in the premier league. It seems the best affordable strikers now are the Benteke's, Bony's and Lukaku's. The strong, tall and fast. Edited by Jordan555x (20 Apr 2014 5.34pm)

There is Van Persie who lacks, pace and strength but he has got that dribbling ability that allows him to turn away from any trouble he would encounter because of his lack of pace and strength. Edited by Jordan555x (20 Apr 2014 5.48pm)

He'd cost a heck of a lot, but were they to drop and were he to leave, I really like the look of Connor Wickham.

The prem is littered with foreign players who were signed for big money and didn't make it. As goal scorers cost more to buy as well as to pay in wages TP can't afford to gamble on a foreigner as it will cost all of his transfer pot. Im sure he will find some good value in a Prem teams reserves waiting for his chance when the foreign legion leaves.Good bets would be Newcastle, Man City Chealski and Spurs

Absolutely... Obviously not AJ but someone in that mould who knows where the goal is at Premier League level.. The difference now is that with this season behind us, there'll be quality players who want to come and play for Crystal Palace and what's more we will be able to spend more than we've been used to doing.... A 15-20 goal a season striker should be top of the summer shopping list!

The problem with this league is that everyone is starting to get the same players but we need to change so that it will be very difficult for BPL teams to defend against us, nearly every team has the same type of defenders solid and tall but loads of them really lack pace and instead of bringing in a tall and slow stricker we should try the opposite a small and pacy stricker its horrible for tall defenders to defend against them because they have to get low and you can't do this for 90min... There is Romarinho (the son of Romario, a very pacy small dribler and he can play on the wings ), Nilmar (former Brazil and Villareal stricker he is something like 27-28 and plays in quatar i think he could be happy to see an escape route...), Hernane (26), Ederson (25), Fernandao (playing in turky and scored 9 in 12 games...
