say we don't get second season syndrome and become an established premier league side. what does everyone think our chances are of getting european football. for me watching palace in europe is the ultimate dream and i can die happy. looking at recent teams hull, stoke, birmingham, wigan, fulham etc the odds cant be that bad. probably getting a bit carried away but its about time we all had something to be optimistic about. Don'tlet us get sucked into that. We dont ve a big enough squad to cope with the extra games. The same players will have to play all those games as our domestic ones! Sure way of getting injuries and in no time we are in a relegation fight This.

Be content with survival. We need to build a team AND a stadium before we even THINK about Europe. I personally hope we don't "accidentally" get there next season.

A trip to Ajax or Hamburg or Copenhagen. You wouldn't say 'no' surely?

Everyone saying we are too early for Europe, who cares aha. Lots of us were saying we weren't good enough to survive and we've smashed it!

Practically everyone said we weren't ready for the premiership.
I'm tough. I'm ambitious. I know exactly what I want. If that makes me a bitch, I'm OK with that. |

Pulis average before today was 1.5 points per game. Over a season that is 57 points. In 2012/13 6th spot was obtained by Everton on 63 points. Its certainly doable.

If it was the old Eufa Cup I wouldn't have minded a place in Europe, but the last thing we need is to get tied up in the overblown and protracted competition that the Europa League has become.

So Palace carry on next season where they left off this season and climb the league. Then the invitation comes to enter a Euro competition. What? We turn it down? I don't think so!

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand! My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I am right. (Member of the School of Optimism 1969-2016 inclusive) |

European football at Selhurst right now is just a dream. Next season we hopefully get another three or four players to further strengthen our squad and push on to get forty points s soon as possible - late February would be just fine. We do our level best to be in the top half of the table and establish a firm footing. The following season we should have a squad capable of having a decent cup run (the draw permitting) and getting in to the top seven or eight in the league. Three seasons on and we will have a better ground in the making and a top half of the table team who may, just, challenge for a European place. But then again, this is Palace, literally anything can happen. P.S: The chant yesterday of "Premier League we're taking the piss, Premier League we're taking the piss" had me laughing out loud - much to my girlfriends confusion. Just feel so proud of the club and the fans. I am going to start up a Facebook Page for Thais to become involved in supporting Palace. Those I have talked to have now heard of us (earlier this season it was still a blank face reaction). Now they say "Good team, good football, very good noisy fans."
