I read on the Cardiff forum a few weeks ago that one of them had heard Parish speak on SSN and that it was the first time he'd ever heard him speak. And how much he appreciated that we had a chairman who could keep his nose out. Pulis has done an unbelievable job, but even from the way he speaks he doesn't need the attention. "I'm just doing my job". I like the way we're going about this. We don't turn in on ourselves when it goes wrong the same way we don't seek to fill headlines when it goes right. We're just doing it properly and Pulis and the board are oozing class and respect for the rest of the league which, given the ridicule the club and Pulis himself has received in the past, says a lot as they'd be more than entitled to. Every week other managers are moaning about something, have some off-field problems, get ahead of themselves. I love the way we're doing it - quietly, effectively and together.

I have spoken with Steve recently and I can confirm his and the other shareholders/Director's utter support and unprompted praise for Tony. This thread is not correct.

I might be wrong but i haven't seen or heard one quote from SP praising the incredible job Tony Pulis is doing here. You would think he would be over the moon with what we have achieved. Is it the thought of paying the survival bonus that he was reportedly promised or something else. Steve, you should be patting yourself on the back for signing TP, it could turn out to be the greatest managerial appointment in our history, so c'mon how about some praise for Tony the miracle man. You're wrong Are you worried that unless you see endless quotes in the mass media from SP praising TP that there might be some sort of rift?

If Pulis has done an incredible job it has not been on his own. The backroom staff and Keith Millen in particular have all worked fairly tirelessly and behind this is CPFC 2010 and SP himself as their most high profile member. Look where we were four years ago and the progress made since then. In fact Pulis has in the last few days paid tribute not only to the players and fans but the owners of the club and SP himself. If Tony stays and I'm sure he will there is no reason why he can't eventually take a board role. As a club we have to use this opportunity to kick on to the next stage of our development and become a team that stays in the Premier League and develops the potential fan base in south London. I'm thrilled that SP and CPFC 2010 have brought us to this position. Think what it would be like having a club owned and run by a narcissist nutter like Tan!!
