At the moment these clubs can get - Sunderland, max pts 43 If Sunderland lose or draw tonight we require 43 pts. If Sunderland lose or draw today and Fulham lose on Saturday (ko before our match) we require 42 pts.
The pyramid to beat all pyramids!! Find out what team is in which division, eg which division is Coppull United in? |

Having said that I've also heard that 83% of stats are made up

Win tonight and we're 10 points clear if the drop zone, with 4 games left. So we'd have to lose every game remaining and those below us would basically need to win ALL of their games. I cannot see any way that we will go down now, too many teams below us that are just simply rubbish. In Pulis we trust.

So 43 points= safety.

In other words ...we're not safe yet but it's better to be looking down the table than looking up it!!!! Even one more point might be enough you know.

This has actually made me more nervous rather than less. I certainly can't see us getting anything from the game this evening. I am useless at predictions though. On Saturday I had an accumulator on the Premiership games and only managed to predict the correct result in two out of the 5 games (Palace and Stoke).
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

Having won three games on the bounce I felt Palace are safe. But then, of the five games to play, three are against top five clubs and the remaining two against teams desperate for points. Gulp! In Pulis I trust.

I love stats, especially this time of the year. Effectively until the bottom three currently can't gain sufficient points to overtake us we aren't safe, stating the obvious!

I have thought for some time now that 40 points for us should be our target. Sure,if we can get more so much the better but another three points have still to be secured.
