IF we reach say 40 points with a one or two games to go, we could put out a team like this to give Pulis a chance to assess his more attacking options before the end of the season:

Speroni

Ward Dann Delaney Marriappa

Ince Bannan Ledley Bolasie

Gayle Murray

Thoughts?

While my heart says yes my head says no!. I agree Pulis has to think about his future attacking options I think we have to play one season at a time so lets leave experiments until the friendlies before next season begins.

I personally want to giving Fulham a good hammering after the 4-1. I know we were a different team back then but it would feel good to settle a score and maybe even get the satisfaction of sending them down.

In other words, no experimenting till pre-season please Mr Pulis

I think West Ham is the only game we could probably field an expermental team and not be accused of f**king someone elses season over (Liverpool, Everton, Manchester City and Fulham games may very well determine who wins the league, finishes 4th or gets relegated).

I know a other clubs have blooded players or fielded experiements when their season is effectively over, but if it was us, on the last day, needing to get a better result than Fulham, and the opposition fielded a 'experiment' or few youngsters, I'd be livid.

See Portsmouth vs West Brom 15th May 2005

Pick the team most likely to go out and get a result. I want to finish strongly and get as many points on the board as possible. Always thought teams that are 'on the beach' for last few games showed a real lack of character.

Were you at the home game against Fulham when they were 1-4 up and singing "can we play you every week"?
I will be at Craven Cottage and want revenge!!

If Palace were in deep relegation trouble and one of their rivals were playing a team who advertised they were to play an 'experimental' team, I'd be straight up the league. Fielding weaker or experimental teams can lead to fines and sanctions against Palace.

Nobody's talking about a complete change. TP has every right to pick whoever he wants from his 25 man squad without the league police knockin' on his door. But yes, would like to see more of Bannan, Guediora and Gayle. His five recently was impressive, that would never had happened with our main striker CJ.

In my opinion Pulis should play the side he believes is his strongest available every game regardless of other factors. It would be unfair to the rest of the league to play a side that wasn't the best available to Pulis. After all we would not like it if we were in the bottom 3 and needed a win for us and a loss for say fulham and the team playing fulham didn't put out its strongest side and fulham won because of it. Plus the higher we finish the more money gained to hopefully invest in the squad.

We should hopefully be able to sing back "you can't play us every week"]

Not as experimental as that but I'd like to see Gayle get game time and I'd like to see Ince get game time if it's looking likely we'll sign him permanently.

Apart from that, keep the winning team. Maybe give Hennessy 90 minutes.
