I know he said some things after we played them but Cattermole would be a perfect replacement

If KG does leave, I'd like to see O'Keefe replace him.

Don't want to see him go but if he does someone like Charlie Adam or Steve Sidwell would be ideal.

Charlie Adam ....no thanks compleat tosser

Leg breaking, ligament shredding tosser if you don't mind

But a premier league quality player who is better then all of our midfielders. I couldn't care less about the righteous brigade. Charlie Adam is quality and Jedinak is just as dirty.

Reports saying that we will struggle to keep KG as his contract runs out at the end of the season. Apparently clubs from Germany and France are interested, also Leicester, Hull and Newcastle.

Will we miss him if he goes ?

With talk of KG and Puncheon leaving , who would you have to replace them ?

What reports? KG seems to be a first choice player and has played his full part this season. Can't see him leaving just yet ...but never say never!!!!

I think KG has struggled this season, took a while to get fully fit in my opinion.

He's one of our more replaceable players.

Does do a lot of the "unseen" stuff, but all too often he contributes nothing at all.

Still a better player than O'Keefe.

Puncheon ain't going and we can replace KG. He's not been great this season at all.

Beg to differ, against Chelsea & Cardiff he was a rock and most other games I've seen he's been good, he does a lot of work that no-one notices, and is a perfect partner for Jedi, ok he's fluffed his lines in front of goal as have even the strikers, give him credit he's a DF like Jedi who hasn't exactly pulled up any trees in front of goal.

The fact we have conceded so few goals this season has to do with the work he and Jedi put in, in front of the defense, there are only 4 other teams who have conceded less goals this season, Chelsea 24, Man City 29, Man U 38, and Everton 31, even the league leaders have conceded more 40, that is not because of luck but due to the efforts of our two DF KG, and Jedi, who have provided the defense with the cover they need.

Amen to this! Good post

Anyone actually got a link to these "reports" or is this just complete non-sense born out of absolutely nothing?

Underrated player, but there's always one in the side. He's done a really good job this season and some absolutely key passes have been forgotten about. I've seen at least 3 absolutely pin point through-balls with heavy backspin to slow it down for Chamakh/Jerome to control.

He's a decent squad player, I think we'll miss him if he does go.

He's been patchy at best. What I would say is that the last 3 games have seen him play his best football for us , but overall he's been average.

Best to let him go and find someone better. Has been playing great for the last few games, but not worth trying to keep.
