1) How has your season gone so far?

Before the first game of the season we'd have been
pretty damn happy to know we'd be in the position
we are now in. After 10 games we'd have been happy
just to know we wouldn't beat Derby's record low
points score. So - fantastic!

2) What was your first thoughts when Tony Pulis became manager?
Happy - a man with track record in the Premier

3) What are your thoughts on Barry Bannan and Joe
Ledley?

Bannan was one of our few good summer signings and
is v.unlucky not to be getting much of a look
in - didn't really put a foot wrong.Ledley is
coming along okay and finding his feet
in the side.

4) What is your thoughts on Foreign ownership like Man City and Chelsea?

On the whole to be avoided, especially when the man
with the money has no real understanding or
appreciation of the game, its supporters and club
history.Step forward Mr Tan.

Since your Div 1 championship win and European Cup
victory Villa appear to be a club failing to reach
their potential. In recent years Villa seem to have
been a solid mid table side - never threatening the
sharp end of the league nor being in much danger of
going down. This Saturday? 3-1

1 - Better than expected, particularly after the start we had. Team are making us proud.
2 - Best of an uninspiring bunch at the time. Now - we've landed the very best.
3 - BB - I like him, but doesn't fit our current set-up with 2 big DM's in Jedi & KG. Might get more of a look in next season if we become more attacking. JL - settling in well, and could be the bargain of the season at £800k.
4 - I celebrate every win (and some draws) like we've won the league. They don't because the clubs and fans have lost their souls and identities to money and business.
5 - If fit, Beneteke, but you're struggling with injurys to key players.
6 - Beneteke, but I also like Westwood as a player.
7 - Good club, currently failing to reach potential. Always have a soft spot, if only as the site of our famous sem-final win !!
8 - Don't want to tempt fate. Hoping for a good result, but have supported Palace for too many years to expect anything other than the unexpected !

10 - Hardest question - I'll have a think on it !!

1. Far better than I had hoped. After such a surprise promotion with a pretty weak squad, losing our main goalscorer through injury for 9 months and also losing our best player, I was just hoping we'd beat Derby and no disgrace ourselves. To be in this position now is a fantastic achievement.

2. I thought it made a lot of sense given the squad of players we have (big, physically strong and able to be direct) and the job we needed him to do.

3. Both good signings. Bannan has struggled to break into the team recently as others have been playing so well, but both he and Ledley bring a bit of quality and composure on the ball. Ledley seems to be happy playing anywhere. He's done a job at left back, central midfield, behind the striker and on the left wing so far.

4. To be honest it doesn't bother me as much as it does some people. Possibly because we're so far removed from it, but I'm never really that fussed when people argue about who has 'bought' the title. That has always happened.

5. We don't score many, so I'll be a bit different and not pick an offensive player. Mile Jedinak has been an incredible signing for us and he and his partner in crime KG have the ability to completel stifle opposition attacks before they get going.

6. Fully fit and in form, Benteke without a doubt. I'm disappointed for his injury, but glad he won't be playing against us.

7. Always enjoyed playing Villa. A big, passionate support and I like that you are trying to do things a bit differently with the way you look to young players and really put faith in their ability.

8. 1-0 Palace. We're very tough to break down and fancy us to knick it.

1) How has your season gone so far?

Fantastically. Poor start but none of us expected to be where we are in the table now come this time of year when the season started. We have come a long way in half a season and are actually competing with teams now.

2) What were your first thoughts when Tony Pulis became manager?

Slightly disappointed and fearful of the style of football that we would play. Thankfully Pulis has been a revelation and has made us very hard to beat and a good team.

3) What are your thoughts on Barry Bannan and Joe Ledley?

BB - Technically excellent and would like to see more of him. Unfortunately he doesn't really fit in with the style and formation that we play and I think he will move on in the summer.

JL - Has taken a while to adapt but has a bit of class about him and he is playing very well at the moment. Good signing.

4) What are your thoughts on Foreign ownership like Man City and Chelsea?

No strong views. Its nice to be owned by people who are fans or have a strong affinity to your club. There are plenty of British owners as well as foreign owners who run clubs badly or are just in it to hopefully make a penny or two. Teams like Cardiff and Hull might moan about their foreign owners changing things but they weren't complaining when these guys were ploughing in millions of pounds and got them promoted off the back of it.

5) Which player should Aston Villa fear at the weekend and why?

Chamakh is comfortably our best player technically but he also works his socks off. Nearly everything goes through him. Apart from him, your full backs will need to be at the races as Puncheon and Bolasie are currently playing well, but can be inconsistent.

6) Which Aston Villa player would you like to have in your team?

Fabian Delph or Gabby Agbonlahor (if he is in the mood)

7) What is your opinion of Aston Villa?

Had a great chance to break into the top 4 or 5 a few years ago and had a great team then but never pushed on and have trailed off over the last few years, presumably due to a tightening of the purse strings. I think you will be safe this year but it is only a matter of time before you drop to the Championship.

Also, your manager is a grade A pillock and generally unpleasant person so while he is in charge I lack any sympathy for your plight.

What is your match prediction?

I predict a 1-1 draw.

Don't know who Jennifer Lawrence is so I'd have to say SJ.

Exceeded expectations. Another three or four points which would guarantee us staying up would be superb.

2) What was your first thoughts when Tony Pulis became manager?

Thank goodness, at last we have a manager who knows how to manage and at this level

3) What are your thoughts on Barry Bannan and Joe Ledley?

Bannan is a good players and excellent to have as part of our squad. Long term he may prove to be a tad lightweight for Pullis's liking.
Ledley - excellent player who cost 800,000 - what is not to like?

4) What are your thoughts on Foreign ownership like Man City and Chelsea?

Part of the game these days. I am happier with the board we have now and being owned by four real supporters of the club.

Would rather have the guys at Chelsea and City though than, for example, the likes of Tan at Cardiff.

5) Which player should Aston Villa fear on the weekend and why?

Fear none of them individually, we have no world beaters but fear them all as a collective unit.

6) Which Aston Villa player would you like to have in your team?

Got to be Benteke and I am sure everyone will say that. However, every time I have seen Villa the last few years (and given they show all your games the following day on Eurosport that is a lot of times) I have been impressed by Marc Albrighton. Why does he not play regularly these days? Is he off on a free end of season?

7) What is your opinion of Aston Villa?

Always been a good club and well supported. These days though you seem to be going nowhere and constantly flirting with relegation - that is a dangerous game.

What is your match prediction?

We are high on confidence and you are low on it and without your main striker. All of which means absolutely nothing come 15:07 on Saturday. We could actually roll you over quite easily but something nagging away in my head says this will be 1-1. I will still be happy with another point though!

9) Chinese or Indian food?
Living in Thailand I miss Indian food - always my favourite. Indian food here is dreadful.

10) Jennifer Lawrence or Scarlett Johansson?
Who are they? - I have no idea. Just Googled them and neither for me. I am spoiled by having millions of stunning Thai waifs to choose from everywhere I go.
