This Cardiff fan was hospitalised early hours this morning and had an operation to have his jaw realigned this morning. 4 Palace fans have been arrested for another cowardly attack.

Looking at the state of the guy's hand in the photo, it looks like he gave as good as he got. Whoever he fought and for whatever reason, he could easily have just come off worst from an even scrap he may well have been involved in starting. There is zero evidence that they were Palace fans, and then zero evidence that they even started it. Unless someone was following this group around, I'd love to know how they could possibly know there was a group going around pub to pub looking for a fight. Smells like the Hull story all over again.

From the Cardiff link above: Does it really matter where it came from? I'm proud of how people have perceived the vocal Palace fans, so I would rather hope (if true) that the pr##ks that did this bog of back to Millwall, they are not wanted at Selhurst.

What sort of reputation are we getting, this is a photo, I'm not even sure it's in a hospital, posted on a football forum with a picture of some bloke who has obviously been in a fight, we don't even know when the pic was taken who the bloke is and you're quite happy to believe this is an attack by Palace fans on a Cardiff fan, give me strength

Fight in Cardiff city centre shocker!!! It's always been a drinking and fighting town, the guys knuckles show he was giving it too. Bunch of berks all round I'm sure, but can't see this as some sort of premeditated danny dyer nonsense.

What a crock...... a punch up in a city centre isn't a rare occurrence is it, just happens to coincide with a match weekend, so lets pin it on hooligans and ramp it up a bit. And Cardiff complaining of hooliganism and violence....POT... KETTLE... BLACK!

Precisely. End of the day we know nothing about it. So far theres not been any press article claiming anything about it and we know how quick they are to leap on something. I suspect because they've factchecked with the local police who've said 'Na he got a kicking from some other idiots in Cardiff, no Palace involved'.
