His step over to allow the ball to run through to Punch for the third was sublime.

His Contract, has an option for a further year. Not sure if that means if the player wanted a further year or if the club. He is worth the money he is on for us to sign him on a 2/3 year contract. Loved seeing him make an appearance, by far our most talented player, as well as our play maker. So confident on the ball, and helps out the defense. SIGN HIM UP!! Maybe his contract has an auto-extension clause if we stay up? It does year extension if we stay up. If he is to go next year we will be claiming a good few million for him

He loves it here. He will stay I am certain. All of the abuse he put up with for years at the Gooners will have hurt him as badly as it would hurt anyone. now he is at a club that is getting the best out of him with a manager and fans who love the guy to bits.

He loved the praise from the fans.. the boys were very casual singin ole and he showed many touches of class in the second half.. we seriously need a song for Joel Ward apart from WARDY for England.

Chamakh was instrumental in our 2nd goal. We've missed him and it's great to have him back.

Having had his confidence shot to bits by being dumped by both Arsenal and West Ham, he has put a lot of faith in Crystal Palace to try and save his English career. He has been excellent throughout. His quality, having played consecutive games in his preferred role, shines through and we really do have a great player for next to nothing (in terms of cost vs quality). Great business by Mr Parish and Ian Holloway for getting him through the door. Should we stay up and should we keep Chamakh next season, I think we will see more goals from him as we will, no doubt, sign more quality in and around him during the close season. I quite like Gary Hooper from Norwich if they drop!

I like chambers...he has exceeded my expectations this season...however, we need to get a partner for him up top, somebody with a footballing brain similar to his. He also needs to man up a lot more.

Came here to start this post myself, the guy is just incredible, he so rarely loses the ball and when he does he's racing back to make up for it. Absolute quality, no one on the team has his footballing brain. So glad he's proved the doubters wrong. Still remember this quote... "If you want to make some money, bet for Crystal Palace to stay in the Premier League."

Totally agree, he was one of signings I was most excited about, he's probably a bit too good for us Re his contract, I would imagine the option of a second year with us is conditional on us staying in the prem, I think we're gonna achieve that and hopefully Cham has fallen in love with Palace, so yeah SIGN HIM UP!! i cant see him leaving, the togetherness and team spirit shown this season will do so much for his confidence. i'm sure he'll get offered more money to play elsewhere in the summer but he knows he has the support of the team and crowd here. looking good for next season...
