I get this feeling that JW will never fulfill his potential at palace and probably move on at some point. I hope im wrong but things always seem to align against him when hes playing for us either from managers to other players and injury.

he reminds me strangely of a Welsh Ossie Ardiles, crunching tackler, all round talented central midfielder.

Think he'll stay with you till the end of the season but maybe with an immediate release clause if we get stuck. Have a gut feeling that I'm trying to ignore that if we stay up we'll swap him for Cresswell.

Would be surprised if we didn't extend the loan. We've got Chamakh coming back from injury who would occupy the same position, on top of having Ledley, Bannan and Guedioura as options (I cannot begin to imagine what that sort of midfield would do in the Championship). Unless Chamakh hits a problem in his recovery, he'd be better off getting games and possession in the Championship where he is rediscovering himself.

I gather from fans who were at Albion game that Williams was given monumental abuse by the Albion fans for his Palace connections. As a result (having seen him play last year) he gave it 110% in the game and spurred Ipswich on, creating the second goal. Albion are doing a remarkable job of shooting themselves in the foot at present, they lost at home again by 2-0 agains Boro on Saturday. I understand they gave the Boro fans (900 of them) the usual "Northern DHSS" crap, and were greeted by a 900-man rendition (arms linked) of "You're getting Married in the Morn-iiinngg". Even an Albion admitted that was funny. And Ulloa skied a penalty high and wide, worse than Jason's effort against Spurs apparently.

Hopefully ive got the right thread/forum...... This 'could' have repercussions on Joniesta after his erm 'display' against Br1-3ton for Ipswich not too long ago(not got a link). Seems our chums down the A23 are getting slighty annoyed. Thoughts?

Shall we start complaining that they're racist when they call us pikeys etc when we play the next? (in 2020)

Seems our chums down the A23 are getting slighty annoyed. Thoughts? It is inevitable that this would happen. Laws relating to equality are exactly what they claim. Whilst racism is mostly gone there are still other areas which have barely been touched. Not so sure that Joniesta himself would get into trouble though. I remember him saying that it was one of his team mates that pulled JW's shorts down and he pulled them back up as fast as he could. Which doubtelss video would prove. SO he would probably have a defence of 'victim of childish prank' rather than intentional homophobia. Edited by Dweeb (09 Apr 2014 5.47pm)
