We should keep hold of him. He loves playing for us and gives 100% every game. At this level he's better than Glen who needs more time to see if he can get back properly. Chamakh and Jerome with Ince and Ledley in behind is our best option.going forward BUT please stop letting Mile take our attacking free kicks! He was immense in front of the defence today but that's where we need him, doing what he does best. Loved it today. Felt so proud of the effort and commitment and of the fact that this was no fluke. We fully deserved to beat them. No doubt. Respect to Pulis for setting them up so well. We really have got a chance now. Steady on there lets not get carried away

There were many heroes today, but I thought I would give a shout to Jerome who perhaps has been inconsistent, but today looked like class. TP was spot on with his choice of putting Him up front. Ok, I know he is not a great finisher, but he hasled the back four throughout the game. Their defence were always looking round to see where he was and made their life a misery.
Always liked him. Big bulking nuisance of a player. If only he could average a goal every three games. That's all that's missing really. If he could average a 1 in 3 goal rating, we'd never have been able to sign him, he'd be playing for one of the top four clubs in Europe. Very unlucky not to score on Saturday, and really unlucky with the way it rebounded.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this but the average miles ran for the team yesterday was about 6 miles per player... Cameron Jerome ran 16.5!!! Incredible work rate! Edited by PalaceBoy111 (31 Mar 2014 11.11am)
I am not actually a boy. 111 is also not my favourite number. |

Much better than given credit for. A lot of what he did on Saturday he has done all season but other players particularly ledley and the midfield, getting forward left him less isolated. We just need more of the same

Yes, credit where credit is due. Both Jerome and KG were stars. I have been as critical of them as anyone else but against Chelsea I couldn't fault them (okay perhaps Cam should have scored but ...). I too was surprised at Jeromes's speed on a couple of occasions, and his ball control was generally excellent. KG looked a lot more assured and was much more of a force in midfield than he has been of late.

It's a shame his finishing is so poor because his movement is generally good. He's some athlete as well, one of the quickest players I've seen play for Palace.
