It's hard to pick out one player but I'd go for either Ward or Jerome. Maybe John Terry should get it? In fact, I haven't picked out one player. I can't believe that I have seen Palace play so well against a Chelsea team who just won 6-0.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

This was a stunning performance and the brilliant thing was that TP was prepared to attack. We matched them for most of the first half and continued to attack on the break after we scored. Could so easily have had 2 or 3 and Chelsea only had two big chances, both of which Jules saved. We had the luck at last with the Terry own goal but we deserved it and this win was no fluke. We now need to carry that spirit through the remaining games especially the six-pointers. In nearly 60 years of watching Palace this match was one of the very best. Defo in my top five along with some of the playoff wins and cup heroics. Edited by peterg (29 Mar 2014 6.40pm)

Mariappa was immense today. Dealt with their wingers comfortably and got down the wings himself. Looked a player worth the money we spent on him.
