He seemed keen to stay at Selhurst. At 34 he's got to have a good 3 years of Prem / Championship (naaaggghhh) left in him. Got his restaurant just opened in Purley. He didn't talk about prayer time around matches. As for God not being interested in football...I know he's interested in people, and football is a part of people's lives. Like so many things, the game itself is a good thing. (The Apostle Paul was happy to use the analogy of an athlete in training). Trouble comes when people worship football rather than the Creator. Hopefully the picture will come out ok in this link.
