'scuse my ignorance, but, are we saying that we're a 1 man team coz Chamakh is out? I seem to remember at least a month ago & from the start of the season that without Muzza & his goals we were doomed?

Yes, we need a GOALSCORER, but to have to rely on 1 player is, in my mind, clutching at straws.

Keep the faith, this is what Palace is all about & after 50 years watching them, jeez I should know.

Not a one man team at all, but Chammers is the only truly classy player we have and IMO could be vital in the last few games against teams around us. Is it a coincidence that we've dried up scoring (not that were exactly prolific before !) since he's been out ?

I don't disagree with the last part of your post, tho I do disagree in part to the middle part of your 1st section, imo we have a few other classy players( personal preference etc) & yes IF fit will be vital in the final run in, BUT, could also be injured again & then where would that leave us?

I don't have an easy answer/solution, tho if I did, id BE a manager . I just feel that a few other players need to 'step up to the plate'

Just out of interest, which other classy players do you think we have ? Genuinly interested cos possibly Bannan is, but he can't get a game unfortunately.I just think we've a much better chance of creating pressure on the break (which is basically the way we'll be playing)with him (Chamakh)in the team.

Again, I do not disagree with your final part, as for who I think are class players we have(IMO) Ward, Ledley, Joniesta(on loan), Campana(on loan) & Jedi, just for his leadership & the fact that every Prem team hate him coz he stops their 'stars' from playing.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Fair play. Agree with Ward but I was thinking more of the attacking/creative players really and unfortunately personally can't put Jedders in that category bearing in mind his passing is so bad.Ledley ? Hmmm, he should be but has hardly been a shining light yet (not saying he wont be). It's all about opinios though, that's what this sote is all about right !?

Arh those were the days when we went forward. Spurs first half was the last time we attacked a team? May be Swansea second half!

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Damm right it is & im enjoying the convo with you, as for 'creative/attacking players, sadly we are lacking in those atm, NOT a priority(imo) till next season whichever division we end up in.

A class act !
We miss him when he doesn't play the missing link that makes the system TP plays work .

The world was a mess but his hair was perfect!

Yeah we are, so let's hope we either get Chammers back soon or TP gives Bannan proper gametime.Let's be honest this Saturday is not a game we're expecting anything from so hopefully everyone fit for Cardiff.

Again, agree, tho I do think we 'could' spring a surprise on sat...ok wishful thinking

Not sure whether I want a 'brave' defeat or a slaughter against Chelski, guess im just looking at the goal difference really which could prove important come the end of the season.

Lets face it, we all know its gonna come down to the Fulham game...its the Palace way
