I still think moxey and parr are great players, love them both running the wing.

Keep Ward, ditch the other 3 full backs in the summer.

I always thought Mariappa was a reasonably decent player. I always wanted Pulis to give him a chance up front on the training pitch. Sh** we are so sterile up front we could use anybody who can walk.talk and kick a football.

mariappa played well, another of the 16 who looks a good squad player esp as can cover centre back, those two runs behind them to get crosses in were great linking up with puncheon, again though there was a bit of understanding between them developing I think the players getting to understand each other's games are one of the factors in the improvement post IH

Think he's really growing into his role at RB, had his two best games for us at Sunderland and Newcastle IMO. With Ward doing well at LB I would like to see this partnership for the rest of the season, regardless of the fitness of Parr and Moxey, who try hard, but aren't up to it (again IMO). Thoughts? Edited by TeenAgeEagle (24 Mar 2014 7.01am) Would ship Parr out. Moxey could stay as cover.

i THINK pARR is good enough. He just hasnt had the chance this season to have a run of games in the prem. Everybody knows Parr is at his best when he is playing every week. he hasnt had the chance to do that this season. injuries havent helped.

Totally agree. When he came into the team and was then dropped thought that was harsh. As with Danny being moved out for Dann who had probably his best game yesterday at Newcastle.
He was exceptional on Saturday as were all our back four. Must have something about him as Arsenal nearly bought him for £4m a couple of years ago. Dann is quality as is Ward and to think Delaney wasn't wanted by Ipswich! He has been brilliant this season!

What worked well on Saturday was the link play between Marriappa and Puncheon. They looked like they had been playing together all season.
