If you look at Williams stats there is no way you can argue that he would have helped us score more goals.

He has played 62 games for Palace and has got one goal and seven assists to his name. Not exactly the creative spark you are making him out to be.

Ah but maxi never lets facts get in the way of his insane rants!

Ah, statistics. He has actually only started 16 league games for us, so your argument loses its validity there.

So does yours, if he's only started 16 games, he's not good enough.

Yes. If we go down, it's because we didn't play Williams more. That is the only factor which could possibly result in relegation.

I don't even know where to start on this.

I rate Williams, but he is still improving. I think I'll trust Mr Pulis in deciding what team has the best chance of keeping us up.

I assume that if we stay up, we can take it as read that Joniesta should never play for CPFC again?

Of course it's Jonnys fault, how stupid of us all not to realise. If he was playing we'd be easily scoring 6 or 7 goals against the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal etc etc.
Hope he doesn't come back or I will be forced to boo him every time he touches the ball and shout Judas as well.

Pinch me, I'm dreaming, but if it is don't let me know.

I never said he started all them games so no it doesn't?
He is a good player no doubt about it, but to suggest he would have kept us up is ridiculous. His name hardly gets mentioned when we are winning games yet as soon as we go on a winless run people look for something or someone to blame! Typical Palace fans

Was worried when he went on loan and thought we lack any creativity.

Most palace fans know how good he is but Pulis hansnt given him a chance. Ince is being given the same treatment

Kiss your 2m bonus goodbye TP

All this crap abt not being good enough for premier league is bollocks. How the fcuk do you know!?

As someone once said 'players who haven't been playing when you are losing suddenly look much better'

Starting every Ipswich game until the end if the season will be a great way to prepare him for a go in the prem next year

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

When ever I have an opinion I'm told The Boss knows best. Well he prefers big men and all I prefer is somebody who can show a twinkle of creativity now and again and can shoot. I must have missed the incident of creation that the big men put together but now we are desperate for someone to pull something out of the hat for us. Lets give Bannan a go and see if we can get Johnny back for Saturday. Also give Guediora a half up front. FFS lets do something different!.

What a stupid post.

I don't see why people rate him so highly. Yes he is a talented young player but he is very raw and is yet to prove himself in a big game or over a number of games. Looking back at last season, when he was fit, Jonny never really stood out that much. I can probably only count two or three games where he had a really good game.

It does seem that any fan hates it when a young player from the academy doesn't get played, as if the manager is damaging our academy.

They way we are playing under Pulis means Williams would not have seen a lot of the ball and he isn't the type of player to sit deep and defend so him going on loan doesn't mean that's why we may go down

Mate we are the lowest scores in the league. Anybody who dosent rate Williams knows nothing about football. When he went on loan i feared that we will be in big trouble. Im sticking to my belief we will go down without him.

I don't think there is anyone who doesn't rate Williams but most are aware that he is nowhere near the finished article and, at present, Bannan is a better option with his PL experience and all-round better game.
It's much better for him to be out on loan getting valuable game time rather than sit on our bench for the odd 10 minute cameo.

"They got his own song 'He's just too good for you', it's quite unbelievable but when you see it and he's facing up someone - I actually feel sorry for them, 'Cos he actually is" - Ian Holloway
