The last time he was in front of goal with just the keeper to beat he headed the ball the other way. Definitely the weakest link in our team

KG's miss was an utter disgrace.

His miss was poor, but again, not deliberate. Quite possibly his first chance this season, so he may be a little rusty. The negativity of our game plan is not exactly conducive to breeding confidence in front of goal. Hard earned ugly point. Any composure in this team disappears once Chamakh is out.

If he sticks it in the net, as he should, surely the game plan has worked to perfection?

This made me laugh as your one of the members who preaches how tactically awful Pulis is yet clearly hasn't even studied or watched the PL this season let alone Palace.

Did you not watch Everton at home? Disgraceful miss there.

It makes sense why you are one of the people who's come out with remarks of preferring us to get relegated playing "nice football" then stay up fighting and being effective.

Oh the irony.

Oh dear me I forgot his other miss this season. So sorry I'm not as encyclopaedic as you. Where exactly is the irony? I've never said Pulis is tactically awful, I've said his tactics are awful to watch.
Sorry if I'd rather watch a better class of football despite the division rather than you who'd rather watch any old s***e just to sit at the top table with the big boys.
I've studied and watched the prem and Palace all season and we are by far the worst team to watch. Just my opinion but every bit as valid as yours.

Toodles...........

And tbf I think Fulham are worse to watch. Our players give it everything and work there arses off instead of being some pre madonnas who think because they can make a couple of fancy passes they don't need character or heart and have no solidity.

Can't say I rate him, but all managers at palace in his time have picked him. They must see something we are missing, but that's life. Taking a point at Sunderland is a good result. Not just the point but depriving them of a winnable 3 points. It's a blow to their chances and morale. Better to focus on that then look for scapegoats no?

Like others have mentioned, its not the miss today its his general play, poor tackling, gets in the way of others, only ever passed the ball backwards today, poor positionally, always the wrong side, gives away freekicks too often in dangerous areas and I have been saying this to my Palace mates all season since the first few games, he is awful! Please Pulis play Ledley in the middle with Jedi and then you have Chamakh to come back or even give Bannen or O'Keefe a go!

Come on the Palace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agree 100 per cent ..the bloke is awful ..brings nothing to this team and before people say about his defensive attributes we have 4 defenders Jedi and Ledley to do that ..Kg is not premier league class and today's miss magnified that

Why does Pulis pick him then?

Or Holloway, or Freedman... First choice starter for each manager since he came to us on loan. Must be doing something right.

KG has all the form, fitness and desire of a player who's contract is up in 3 months and knows he's not getting a new one. Put players in that want it.

Quote Ron Noades Mother at 15 Mar 2014 5.37pm

The reason why we are the lowest scorers in the division, and likely to break all Premier League low scoring records this season was summed up by KG today.

Absolutely incredible that a professional footballer on his wage cannot at least hit the target from so close and with so much time.

What Pulis see's in him I do not get.

Maybe it is just me, but Jedi and Ledley in the middle seems a far more sensible approach and means our midfield may become a little more creative without losing too much competetiveness.

Thoughts ??

It seems to me that KG plays well in spells during a season. I don't want to write him off as always rubbish. However, it is hugely apparent that he is currently playing abysmally. I would have subbed him after 25 minutes v Southampton.

Yet another mistake by a second rate player costs us vital points - it's sickening supporting our team and being let down by pathetic blunders like this.

KG is an overweight, Championship standard, immobile "footballer" (stress the "...". Can anyone remember one time this season he has done something, I mean, a pass, a clearance a tackle, never mind a good overal 90 minute performance.

He will never score a goal in the Premiership except maybe a bundled goal from a corner or soemthing, oh no wait, he'd only get those from Bannan's delivery who he is keeping out of the side.

Pulis must really see something we dont, why does he get a game every week and Bannan doesn't even get brought on as a sub?

Why not play Guedioura if you want more strength than Bannan? He's never disappointed?

Or SOK, a fans favourite who has ALWAYS, I repeat, ALWAYS performed
