We need to give the ball to someone's feet up top who can turn and take on the last defender, not play backwards or sidewards, in the absence of securing a proven centre forward in the last window we have to utilize what we have.. who would you rather have running at you if you were a centre back ? Murray, Jerome Chamach or Bolasie ?

We need to unlock defences and score goals, Remember we have the worst goal scoring record in the league..

Think about it,

Oh I've thought about it and I don't see how it could possibly work. You can't just have one player on the counter, he isn't going to turn and beat 4/5 men, again, this isn't fifa. Lone strikers for counter attacking sides have to be able to hold up the ball when they're isolated allowing time for team mates to join in. Bolasie wouldn't do that, he'd run into blind alleys and surrender possession straight away, we'd never have an attack.

If Bolaise was a bit more accurate with his crosses we might just score a few more goals. Playing Bolaise as a centre forward is like putting Johnny Williams in goal. Daft.
I am not to sure about Bolaise, for all his trickery and pace his end product is diabolical. Bannon is much more accurate without the flair.

Do you think Arsene Wenger, Jose Mourinho, or Alex Ferguson would play Bolasie as a striker if they were in charge of Palace? Answer that honestly then think about whether you know better than them!

Murray, Gayle, and Chamakh are the three players we need to see played up front (not all at once, not suggesting they play in a 433)

I`m not suggesting for a moment that the OP is right, and correct me if I am wrong, but isn`t that exactly what Wenger did with Thierry Henry?

Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link]

With Bolasie as our center forward the only goal in danger would be Speroni's.

If I was put in charge for the rest of the season then I would play Yannick as center forward being supported by Bannan, drop Murray and Punch..

Go on rip me to bits..

and its not like you didn't know it would happen!!

Couldnt finish a race if you put him on the finish line and pushed him over, let alone score a goal poor sod.

You'd have better luck putting the master of ball control Puncheon in goal and Speroni on Hennesy's shoulders up front than with your highly thought out , hugely planned hair brain scheme.

However, I thank you, highly highly hilarious post, spat coffee everywhere as I read it.

I'd play Speroni up front and put Bolasie in a boat, whilst utilising Captain Sensible as a right back.

For me Murray and Chamach/Gayle up front, Ince and Thomas/Puncheon the wings, Bolasie coming on as an impact player and Ledley/Jedinak bossing the midfield.

I'm not saying Bolasie is as good as Wilf however, he IS a danger man and takes opposition players away from their positions to mark/tackle him. He has to start as he's looked lively and threatening recently, is physically strong and can create opportunities for other players.

I'd be tempted to stick with Thomas/Ince/Puncheon as our wingers and let Bolasie roam around upfront (I'm not saying he'd be out striker), dragging opposition defenders here there and everywhere!

Can't wait for Saturday, I'll be there cheering the lads on.

I love Bolasie plays with a smile on his face and is the one player opposition teams worry about even if he's erratic at times.
Playing him up front would smack of desperation and probably get us relegated,
Murray Gayle Jerome Chamakh are more than good enough if they get the chances

The world was a mess but his hair was perfect!
