Not comfortable slagging KG but at the moment would rather Guedioura. Don't buy the argument that Jedinak plays better with KG. We can't afford passengers and Jedi will have to adapt.

Guedlioura or Bannan - there is just no creativity in that side. Wouldn't mind if KG was winning tackles or making passes but he wasn't doing either today.

KG was awful today. Not as bad as Puncheon though. It was like he wasn't even on the pitch.

I agree 100%. KG is fat and Bannan even looks quality when he's warming up at half time.
I can't believe for a minute that any professional footballer is now allowed to be overweight, as fitness and dietary experts are employed by every club.

We lost the ball so often in the area where Chamakh plays, because we had no one in there that far up the field to cover for him. The midfield played very deep and won the ball so many times but it was picked up in that attacking midfielder area by Southampton time and again. We really missed a player with the inate ability to be in the right place at the right time like Chamakh. I would of been tempted by Ince or Bannan today. Seriously we have Ince on loan for a short time and a high price, if we don't allow him to actually play his natural game he will of been a complete waste.

BARRY BANNAN - YES!!! good enough for Scotland but not for Palace?? today was the most frustrating and dire game of all of the home games this season at least against Fulham we were beaten by two moments of top skill at least against Norwich the wind and the rain was against quality football today Southampton were nothing more than competent they didn't look like scoring before or after that goal when you see goals like that given away you can't complain we were unlucky (eg with the officials) teams that give goals away like that can't be credible Premier league teams I have been thinking for a long time how Bannan should not have been dropped today KG didn't press, tackle or intercept so I wondered why he was on the pitch - because he can't pass really not many came out with any credit that even goes for Speroni (why didn't he take out the scorer like most goalkeepers would have done, he's too nice! and his kicking is poor- right through to Dann (poor distribution and looks slow, bring back Gabbidon) Jedinak (looked tired), Puncheon (poor) Murray (didn't look Premiership class today) and I also include Pulis who today got the team selection and the tactics wrong and even delayed the substitutions too long we need to score goals, not set out to lose 1 or 2 nil we need creativity - play Barry Bannan and Chamakh and one holding midfielder only

Bannan must play. As it now looks as if we are going to have to get the majority of our survival points away from home, is it a coincidence that BB has started in all our three away wins including the winner at Hull. We need flair to win away and he can supply it.

Id prefer Bannan either out wide or in the whole. More iimportantly we need Gayle coming off the bench and not Cameron Jerome!!!!! Not good for Pulis at Stoke, but good enough for Palace

Why was Bannan dropped? When he played he was competitive, busy, had an eye for goal, his enthusiasm was infectious...... I liked him in the team. I think he would definitely improve our team and deserves a chance.
