Just for the record, Milligan played well also, and if only Palace had offered the money up front rather than installments (we're only talking about a million) he could have played a role. Getting Jedi through safe and sound was the main thing. As a team, plenty of positives from the 1st half, from the 2nd, well, not so much.

Maybe... But he'd serve a greater purpose in the Championship, so hopefully no!

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Jedinaks Aussies ' by SloveniaDave Saw Aussies last night, led out by captain Jedi. The Aussies started well and were well worth their 3-0 lead at half time. Ecuador made a host of changes at half time and were a different team in the 2nd half as the Aussies went to pieces. Jedi gave the ball away which led to the 2nd and 3rd goals and was soon subbed off as he went thru that spell where all his passes go astray.and he seems to lose concentration. Great atmosphere , didn't no there were that many Ecuadorians in london. Best chant " the referees a shelaugh". A very entertaining night, better than staying in and watching England zzzzz
