Statistically "better" than Walker and Johnson as our team has had to defend a great deal more.

Ward's form dipped a bit of late. Delaney possibly our best player since xmas?

He's performed better than Walker and Johnson this season, yeah. However, Clyne should be ahead of him for England.

Only by .05, so not really ground breaking.

As EDN has said he's still got to gain more experience at a higher level, then we'll see.

My opinion is that he's a better defender than Johnson and Walker but they're better going forward. It depends how the manager wants his team to play.

In this modern era, it would appear that attacking full-backs are all the vogue.Think Gary Neville described them as "Modern day full-backs".

.

Certainly in the last couple of games the teenager Calum Chambers has been playing at right-back with Clyne amongst the substitutes.

sorry I know I'll be un-popular for saying this because I love Joel like everybody does and I fancied him for an England call up,,,,,,but having seen him get caught out of position twice for oxlade's two goals at the emmitates and having seen him get beaten by routledge more than once at Swansea, I'm afraid he's not quite ready yet, despite a good season all round.

maybe when we stay up and he's had another year of top flight football.

Kyle Walker gets beaten by drips like Matt Jarvis and Glenn Johnson is past it. Ward is better then both if Ward played for Spurs/UTD ETC he would be the best thing since sliced bread. I personal think Englands best RB is Micah Richards but f*** knows what's happened to him.

Only because Chambers hasn't done anything to be dropped, it would be unfair of Poch to drop him just because an injured player has returned, that would be terrible management.

Clyne is still Southampton's first choice right back.

No it wouldn't, if Clyne was that important he'd be straight back in the team

I can't argue with you, I'd rather have Joel at right back for palace than walker or johnson, but as an england fan I'd rather have nat clyne in the team than Joel for the simple reason he's got more top flight experience in a decent side under his belt
