Maybe it would put a strain on the squad but if we ever had the chance at a little European tour, there's no way I'd turn it down.

Fulham qualified for Europe this way back in 2011. "The Respect fair play assessments are made by the official UEFA delegates, based on criteria such as positive play, respect of the opponent, respect of the referee, behaviour of the crowd and the team officials, as well as cautions and dismissals." This is why Scandinavian teams head the fair play table.

Apparently we are 6th:
Given we're behind Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, City, Everton and have Chelsea behind us, if we don't see some more red cards from all teams on Match of the Day we may have a Europa League 1st round qualifier in Romania over the summer... Edited by ambrose7 (03 Mar 2014 4.12pm)

Though Scandinavian countries, particularly Norway, generally do very well, the reason that those 3 headed the European rankings at the halfway stage at 31 December (It is measured from 1 May 2013 to 30 April 2014) is that you have to have played 30 games in that time to be considered. Only those countries that play over summer could have completed that many games, and it's generally the Scandinavian countries who play a February - November type of season. Therefore, we have no clue where England currently sit.

If England is one of the top 3 national associations in the Fair Play league throughout Europe then the team top of the fair play league will get a place in the Europa League. We are 6th but all the teams ahead of us (Liverpool, Everton, Arsenal, Man City & Tottenham) are currently in league positions which would qualify them automatically. So, if the season were to end now and England are in the top 3 national associations for fair play - we would qualify for the Europa League. Early days though - would only take a few yellow cards or Tony Pulis headbutting someone for us to drop down the table. Does 6th Spot in the Premier now get a EUROPA spot because City Won the League Cup and and will qualify for Champions League.?

Top 4 get Champions League. Therefore, were City to then win the FA Cup, even the team in 7th would qualify for Europe.

what a poisoned chalice Europa League qualification is for some teams, they must be praying City lose the FA Cup, the competition is a complete joke.
