Is this journos going after Ince qoutes or 'Team' Ince putting him out there for journos ?

Think its a bit of both Sash, although the more work Team Ince do the more obvious his head isn't on the immediate job at hand. We need all 11 working to the same script. we are not good enough to stay up with 10 men IMO.

'Dear Tom

After you have scored a hatrick against Southampton, please feel free to do an interview. Until thenTFU

Echo what's been said. Ince needs to spend a little more time concentrating on getting up to Premier League standards rather than doing PR. Certainly against United he looked very lightweight, more work less chat

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

It must be hard for him as I get the impression his old man pulls all the strings and its probably difficult for him to step out of his shadow and be his own man.
Shame as Oxlade Chamberlains dad doesn't feel the need to use his boy to keep his own profile up.

Rachid Harkouks passport was lost in the post ......Honest.

Team of the 80's, well we were for a few months in the autumn of 1979...

I'll play devil's advocate, and defend Ince. I read that last article, and he's full of praise for Swansea, and he said he expected to get booed. He also infers that he was happy with being substituted, since it resulted in palace becoming far more effective in the second half.

Nothing wrong with any of that.

That said Tom, please shut up in future, and concentrate on your game...

So he spoke with a bit of confidence (in the team) instead of the usual bland sh*te churned out for media. Hardly crime of the century.

He also said that he told the team to expect the crowd to boo him - as if players like jedi, ledley, kg, delaney didn't know this already.

He does talk with confidence, but he hasn't put in the shift to be classed as a game changer - just compare his interview to FFS - says it all

This was once a quality forum....

I can't see anything wrong at all with his comments in this interview. He's pretty much spot on and it doesn't come off as bragging, a PR hype machine in action, his nasty dad Paul pulling the strings of self interest, or anything else he's getting slagged for.

If players can't even make innocuous observations like this without getting dogs abuse from their own fans, then we deserve the inane, hollow football narrative that we are served up every week by talentless football hacks and seemingly lobotomised pundits.

His supposed confidence in this interview wasn't him bigging himself up. He talked about the other players in the team and said that in the second half we played well. He's right.

His comments pregame weren't helpful and certainly weren't innocuous observations - otherwise the Swansea fans wouldn't have been so vocal and fired up to beat us.

Glad to see that most of us agree that Ince should let his feet do the talking.

Once again the HOL making a mountain out of a molehill - this is not an outrage and he does not deserve this type of criticism, get off the lads back and let him do what he's doing.

You see managers head butting players, players getting other players sent off, players still diving about all over the gaff and a young upcoming english talent is getting a bit of media attention and he's labelled by the "best fans in the country" as a "mouthy c*** like his dad" who needs to "STFU"

Stop whinging, start supporting!
