I would go with the theory of a dead leg, was only a slight knock. Saying that I think Chamach would go off because he had a hole in his sock.

Really hoping it's not a hamstring, though the way he went off suggests it is very likely.

Do people with hamstring injuries walk in a different way to those with dead legs?

Yes.

People with hamstring injuries limp, were as those with dead legs spazwalk. That's the scientific term.

Haha, well that's solved that then.

I would suggest it is a hamstring, as you kinda know straight away when it goes.

Fingers crossed it isn't.

Hammys usually make the player pull up sharply clutching the back of their thigh. Did Chamakh do that yesterday? I didn't see.

He only seemed to feel it after he had gone down under the challenge so I'm hoping its not a hammy.

Not an expert but at the time it looked like a dead leg and going on Pulis' comments about being worried about the International break I wouldn't expect anything coming out of the club saying it's nothing serious. If we need an excuse to hold him back it was ideal timing. In fact all round it worked out quite well as I thought CJ did pretty well. It took him 5 minutes to get into the game but in the conditions he was ideal.
