Do managers not ask fans to make their home games a hostile fortress. I was at the game just behind the HF lads, so haven't seen the tv images of it but Durham is saying it was vile and disgusting. I don't know how he could tell what was being said. Since when were you not allowed to barrack the opposition and put them off. I also found weird the fact that Durham was slagging us off for 'vile abuse' when I'm sure he wasn't at the game. Yeah, the coin throwing was right to condemn, but he has no right to make assumptions on what was being said in fairness...
the HF are great, and do an amazing job...but dont halgf let themselves down sometimes. its all very big to aim what im assuming is vile abuse at rooney...but if you did that kind of thing in the street you would end up in hospital! Edited by braunstoneagle (24 Feb 2014 6.58pm)

Nothing wrong with shouting abuse at opposition players. Throwing things is wrong.

None of that was as bad as the s*** our black players have had to put up with from the likes of Millwall 'fans'.

Vile? Vile is Man U and Millwall fans. Rooney was always going to something great after signing a new deal. Man Utd in general are scum of football. Money buys everything, a global business who given half the chance would join some super break away league without a second thought for the clubs left behind. Except any kind of physical abuse, including coins, they got what they deserved.

What I find most offensive is labelling palace fans as vile!! Mr Durham is saying we pelted Rooney with coins and abuse. Whilst I agree throwing coins and 'foul' abuse is not right mr Durham through his show and national radio 'abuses and bullies' a victim every night. Tonite was the turn of Lucas neill and every night his 'daily arsenal' . Double standards me thinks.
