Repeating a libel is viewed in the same way as the libel itself.

Surely only if someone repeats it with the intention of showing they believe the same...If you're simply reporting what someone else has said I can't see that as being libelous, it's a statement of fact, the truth.


That would be for a court to decide.

Puncheon. might have a case to answer but he's got one too. Warnock brought his name into disrepute by saying he wouldn't trust him in a million years to take a penalty. He reacted to that as anyone would but got his response wrong. However, he was quite clearly provoked by Warnock who started it. Warnock's also had at least one FA charge before anyway so he's no stranger to controversy.
It has been reported that Warnock also stated he'd had direct contact with Puncheon to clear up the issue so I think the FA should simply do that...FA.

Are you saying that not being trusted to take a penalty is as bad as corruption?
