I don't get this argument about "denying a Palace fan a ticket". If i had a Man U friend who wanted to watch the game with me and I could vouch for them that they wouldn't be a t*** and wear Man U colours, show Man U emotion, sing their songs etc... I would much rather take them to the game than sit next to someone I don't know and couldn't give two s***s about.

End of the day, it's money in the pocket for the club and I know any Man U fans with a fondness for Palace.

The game would have sold out weeks ago ago if there was the demand. As it is there are 300 tickets left with only 48 hours to go. No Palace member nor season ticket holder nor their friends are missing out.

So a few man u are scattered around. Unless it was a 100% sell out so what? AS long as they behave. There are some right anal nigels on here. Again.

This.

We have to ask ourselves how come this game is not sold out? So much for needing a 40,000 stadium?

Quite...

This whole argument that they are denying palace fans a ticket is laughable when it isn't sold out with two days to go.

As Kermit said, anoyone who wanted a ticket should have got one by now (and still can...)

From the mouth of Stephen Browett: "I would rather have 500 empty seats than have 500 Man United fans sitting in the home ends".

I 100% agree with our owner.

For all of the London matches, and I include Moan U here, there has been talk of away fans in the home ends but I’m yet to see any which either means that they have been respectfully quite or there were not any near to me. I’m not sure I care who anyone supports so long as they don’t bother me. My mate, next to me, is a bit of a traditionalist and would thump any away fans within his vicinity though. Each to their own.

It is very hard to be too critical as I shall be at the Fulham match, hopefully in the away end but failing that the neutral end and if all else fails in the home end. My mate will be with me and won’t see this as a contradiction! The last time we went in the home end together was Coventry in 2004, there wasn’t much to cheer about until near the end, at which point we realised there were quite a few Palace fans in the home end.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

I've had a discussion with Steve B about this. I don't think he gets it that there are tens of thousands of Palace fans who for one reason or another are not season ticket holders nor members. 45,000 at Wembley proves this plus god knows how many more around London, the country and globe.

What those fans will have - a lot of them anyway - is a booking history. Open the gates to them for unsold tickets a week before and I reckon we would get over 30,000 for quite a few games if our capacity was 33,000 say in The Prem in three or four years.

As it is there have been at least 20,000 empty seats in total so far this season which is daft really.

He's done a U-turn since then as that line was to do with selling unsold tickets untied. He said they wouldn't do it. They are now.

Hopefully twitter nonsense, but if you search "Cantona masks" there seems to be quite a few United fans who hope to be wearing them. Vile, vile, vile!

I wonder if those happy to sit side by side with United fans will be happy with that?

Seriously...... Vile??

Do you really think they will wear them in the palace end????

And would you really be that agitated by them wearing these in the away end.

Maybe just me, but I really couldnt care less..

I remember being in the Shed with some Chelsea mates when we got drubbed (I seem to recall a Coleman o.g. but could be wrong). Sat on my hands the whole way through, on the way out had several comments (and a sweet) from the other Chelsea fans who had twigged I was Palace but thankfully were not f**king morons!

Also in the Arsenal end for the 1-2 win, all alone and afraid, but various very subtle fist-pumps to faces I knew from Selhurst(but had never met) on the way out.

If you're in the wrong end and being a d!ck, you get what you deserve - if you're being OK, then I'm fine with it. Likewise being in "our" pubs etc - I like mingling with other fans, so sue me.
