As Jordan555x suggested, you should definitely give her your ticket instead-Palace need all the luck we can get. This forum will start a thread thanking you,if as encouraged she turns up at Selhurst instead of you and we WIN. Howz that?

I would have thought the cock and bull is your best bet, that's where I watch most games in Sutton. Edited by paulose17 (19 Feb 2014 6.38pm)

As a female Palace Supporter myself, I would go to The Woodman, but I'm not sure if they are showing all Sky Sports games as I think they may have changed to BT Sport games only?! I watched the last game against Man Utd there and there were loads of Palace fans in there - good atmosphere. I have been to The Treasury in Sutton before to watch matches too and even though there may be quite a few Chelsea supporters, I've never witnessed any trouble. I personally wouldn't go to The Melbourne in Wallington, lots of Chelsea fans (I know some of them!) and some undesirables at times too!! The Dukes Head at the bottom of Wallington High Street might be showing it, that's a nice pub. Been there to watch Palace before and again, no trouble! As for Croydon, I don't know if any of these places are showing it, but maybe try Crown and Pepper/ Spreadeagle or Green Dragon. Used to go to those a lot when I lived in Croydon, and was always fine! Hope that helps

TBH finding a Palace shirt in Sutton is a rare thing sadly, I saw one in The Bank the day of the Arsenal game, The Melbourne is a better place to go to as others have said, was amazed to see so many Palace fans getting off the trains at Wallington station after the Play Off final.

As others have said, the Melbourne will have a good amount of Palace fans in there, there are usually quite a few for palace games, and Im sure the Chels fans will be supporting Palace too! But yeah it can get a bit dodgy at times. If she does venture to Croydon Green Dragon or Goose on the Market are probably 2 of the better choices and right next door to each other. I think there is some 6 nations rugby on too. But looks like it should be finished by the time Palace start.

I'd go on a pub crawl like the one I did 41 years ago as an 18 year old after my A Levels.... Greyhound All Youngs pub (or they were back then) Start off at the Greyhound till half time, then on to the Duke till full time then onto the Plough. If you have 4 pints of Ramrod and Special in each you will be talking bollocks by 11pm just like I was all those years ago.
