Jedi is a beast and one of the key reasons why we are so hard to break down especially through the middle. The work he does isn't pretty but it's vital for us. He presence on the field alone effects opponent by speeding them up because they know if they linger on the ball they are going to get hammered by him. If he's fit, as has already been stated, first name on the team sheet.

Im sorry.... I have to voice my opinion on Jedi. Am I not seeing what others see ? Or is it that he had a good championship time with us ? I don't know, but , I think he's crap ! He isn't skillful, he doesn't score, he doesn't set up goals but he does work hard. I think he should be dropped and replaced with Ledley. Making room for gueirdiola. ( apologies probably spelt wrong). Please shed your thoughts . Is it just me who thinks this ?

Football is about opinions but this opinion is absurd!

Mile is a spoiler. He is there to break up play, be a nuisance and just generally do the ugly stuff. Every team needs one. Yes, his passing ability isn't the best but everything else is spot on. He wins headers, he tackles, he bullies, he goes in for 50/50 sometimes head first! I have been really impressed with him this season. He is a true leader. We're lucky to have him.

He's massive, you only have to look at the stats for headers, interceptions and tackles. His passing is poor but, as someone else has already said, if his passing was as good as he rest of his play he wouldn't be at Palace. Really looking forward to a Jedinak/Ledley central midfield.

He won't be a first teamer in twelve months time.

And I'm a Jedi fan.

He set very high standards last season and earlier this season so when his form dips slightly people can get on his back.

As someone else said, look at the stats. (Second most successful tackles in Europe at one point I think?)

He's been one of our best players so far this season.

The man is a legend. As for his passing, I suggest you doubters take a look at how many options he has when he gets the ball. Clearly if you watch Palace you will know we are set up to not concede goals and attacking options are limited. It's easy to play football from the terraces.

Whilst I agree with you in some respects. I wouldn't say he is crap although at times he plays the ball like a sunday league footballer. But the Jedi is so good when he wins the ball he gives it back so he can do it again

That's exactly it. Legend.

Think its safe to say you all disagree with me then. To answer a few points people have raised, I have thought this for a long time not just moaning because nothing better to do. I agree he works hard and goes in for challenges but I agree with one comment on there that he won't be a starter in 12 months time, I'd say by start if next season if stay up he will be replaced. I still don't get the love that all you guys have for him personally, but hey, that's football I guess. I just think he's shows more Sunday league stuff more than premiership quality. Apart from a tackle whats he got ? He's slow, he can't pass, he can't score and he doesn't create anything and for a center mid player I think we need better.

Without Jedi we would be in the relegation Zone.
Your opinion is absurd.

Some of our fans think because we bring a few decent players in and the club moves out the relegation zone we have cracked it and the heartbeat and driving force of our side is not needed..
Jedi would be the first name on any team fighting relegations team sheet he would run through a brick wall for CPFC ,the fans sing his name nearly every game and that says it all really.

The world was a mess but his hair was perfect!

The lynchpin to the whole team. Protects the back four; immense presence in midfield; and when on form, the first pass in our attacking play. Unfortunately though, his is sometimes the first pass in the opposition's attacking play too!

TP may be looking for a replacement but it will be a long time before he finds one.
