My only criticiam of Chamakh is that he seems to have lost a little confidence. There's been a few times recently where you would expect a striker to have a pop but he's laid it off. There's times where he needs to be more selfish.

I just hope we can keep hold of him next year

My main criticism of him is his hair. And that he spends an awful lot of time on the floor after being fouled.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Gary Lineker has gone very quiet in his snide "Is my TV broken or did it say Chamakh has scored?" type comments now. I like that every time Chamakh scores or has a good game a small part of that horrible little c*nt rag well poisoner dies. I am hoping 4 more goals and Lineker will end up sectioned for trying to eat his own ears.

He does seem to be doing this more, I hope Pulis has a quit word with him because besides that I really like him as a player.

And as far as the confidence part goes I think its still a work in progress, but I really like that he stepped forward to take the penalty, that is a good sign for his contiuned growth.

TBH, he was already getting grief there and it's doubtful he'd have been given the time to get his confidence back at the Arse like he has here. Although in fairness, that's more to do with their fans than Wenger or the club themselves; if a forward isn't Bergkamp, Wright or Henry they're immediately pronounced "s***".

The fans who started leaving at 3-0 at Anfield, the fans who booed them off after their 0-0 with Man Utd...why would you ever want to play for such a bunch of cocks

I honestly couldn't believe what I was hearing when they booed their players after the United game. What an absolute bunch of s***ehawks Aresenal fans are.

Sure it was a s*** game, but booing getting a point against the current title holders. Unbelievable.

When we played them at the Emirates the ground was half empty with 10 minutes to go. Unbelievable.

I agree with the emboldened part but I don't think he's ever fully regained his confidence since his arrival, I can't remember who it was against but he struck one from the edge of the box and it went in, that was an instinctive shot, when he has time to think he seems to pass on responsibility. Hopefully confidence will slowly return, I believe it is. It's amazing how much those library dwelling to$$ers can screw someone up.

You might be thinking of his strike against Cardiff where he chested it diwn and smashed it into the bottom corner?

Smackers does spend quite a bit of time on the deck after minimal contact, but he is only repeating Arsenal type behaviour. Yes TP, 'ave a dicky in his shell like. Unbelievably tho', I think his style of being a natural shot-taker (once his confidence is up) is too similar to Glen's and the choice of playing Jerome, instead of Glen, will be a hard one. Jerome's control and deft pass will suit Glen much more. Don't jump down my throat though, just think about it. Could TP play all three with overlapping, fast crossing full-backs?

I agree with the comment earlier about he doesn't shoot enough and he needs to be a bit more selfish which I agree with 100% but I personally think he is like that in the first place because Arsenal try to pass the ball into the back of the net constantly so he probably had it drummed in his ears for 3 years not to shoot but pass and I think he will slowly come out of this the longer he stays with us and become more selfish.

I really think he his a top class player and his confidence will start to grow more and more but only if he stays with us regardless of the division were in I personally don't think it will help him to move on in the summer but that may be out of his hands if we get relegated. I really believe at the end of next season his confidence will be back and we will have a world class player in the squad at the moment he is class but I believe he has everything it's just a shame that age is not on his side as he will be almost 32 at the end of next season so another big move may be out of his grasp if he does rediscover top form but it will certainly be good for us.

We need to gain small advantages where we can and if Maroune staying on the floor 45seconds longer than he has to helps to disrupt the oppo a bit then he is doing part of that job.

He's a clever footballer and a winner. I want to adopt a baby with him.

Which is probably why CJ has played because at least he'll have a pop, although he's s***.

If we stay up, keep him. He and Muzza would be a very interesting front 2 next season.
